Description
Hi there!
We've got loads of continual work going on.
There is always work to do around the house too. Painting / lime and hemp walls / odd jobs / barn clearence.
We're looking for people that are good all a-rounders. That can think on there feet and not afraid of a little bit of everything.
If any of this sounds like something you want to put your energy into then please read on.
We do real people, not ego's. We do fun, but we work hard too.
This is our home not a business. If you come you'll be one of us. Treated no different. We don't know what hours you'll be working, so don't ask. But we are not slave drivers. We will not be sitting back and watching you work . You will be part of the team / family. .
If you fancy coming and helping out get in touch.
Our nearest town is Saint Girons which is famous throughout the Pyrenees for it's Saturday market there is also a beautiful Sunday market in Engomer 20 minutes from us.
We are well travelled folk ourselves however becoming pregnant with our number 2 we decided to buy this beautiful farmhouse and settle down. We chose here purely for the lifestyle. Rich in food, rich in health and rich in beauty.
We have a good mixture of local and international friends and we are a bilingual family.
Life here in the hamlet is pretty special. Although our neighbours are a lot older (and were born here in the hamlet, literally) they have welcomed us with open arms and accepted us as one of their own and have been teaching us their ways.
The area that we live in is for folk that love the outdoors and nature. We are 1hr 30 mins direct south of Toulouse, 3hrs to either coast (Biarittz on the Atlantic and Perpignan on the Med) 4hrs to Barcelona. Andorra is just a short hop and a skip too.
Our nearest ski resort, Guzet, is 45 mins drive away.
