    Description

We are running 4 weekends of permaculture retreats during the new year which is always fun and exciting.
Hosting a diverse skill group of 20 people on the property with full catering of our own organic produce directly from the garden.

Gaeme has a 5 zone permaculture property. He has been the founder of Permaculture Yarra Valley involving teaching and designing programs for over 20 years. He likes to specialise in grafting and pruning. Graeme also has extensive knowledge of fauna and flora within the region from 10 years as a director.

Bastien and Melissa are the caretakers of the property. They are involved in helper management, animal husbandry and full running of the permaculture system. This includes food productivity, worm farming systems, hugelculture, foraging, workshop hosting/catering etc. The property consists of heritage fruit trees, market garden, zoned vegetable gardens, wet and dry forest, eatible native and weed plants. Sheep, chickens and goats help with the property maintenence as well as being pets.

We are very selective when hosting as it takes up a lot of time. We try our best to make sure our volunteers take away an inspirational experience of permaculture.
