If you have worked / stayed in a good hostel, you already know it's like the best parts of college, without the responsibility & with a more international crowd for the best cultural exchange with so many students and travelers from so many countries.
Plus you get free stay, FREE EVERY DAY: All-You-Can-Make Pancake Breakfast, WIFI, parking, coffee, tea, lockers, luggage storage, laundry, movies, book exchange & most nightly & daily activities.
Travelers from all over the world, both guests and staff meet every night a the picnic table for food, drinks, music, games and cultural exchange with staff & guests so it's easy to make friends fast.
A solo female volunteer told us to write on here, it is safe and fun and she would probably have enjoyed it better coming alone than with a friend!
This is a fun city, with more to do than most people expect.
Our past & current staff often stay longer than planned because they feel this is a great place to:
• Make new friends & world travel contacts with emphasis on cultural exchange!
• Improve social skills!
• Improve English!
• Learn / improve one of the many other languages always spoken here by native & others learning that language!
• Enrich social life - meet and party with young travelers from every continent!
• Enjoy an exciting and unique lifestyle very different from the normal thing at home!
• Explore the surrounding national parks & cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Tijuana Mexico and More)!
Without exaggeration, I can say the experience is life changing.
