    Description

    Hello,
My name is Robert, I am 56 years old and I am currently rebuilding an old house in the beautiful Waldviertel a little crazy.
The house is in a beautiful location in the middle of forest and fields in a beautiful region with lots of nature and also some sights in the immediate vicinity such as the Rosenburg, Altenburg Abbey, the Kamptal with the Kamptal reservoirs or Greilenstein Castle. Vienna is about 1 hour away by car.
However, I still live a bit spartan. There is a nice little room for you/you (max. 2 persons). However, there is no bathroom, which means that daily personal hygiene might be a bit more elaborate. Of course there is hot water and a clean, modern toilet and washing machine. I speak fluent German and English.
Currently, there is work to be done, insulating the house, cleaning up the construction site and simple forestry work.
There may also be a car available for smaller trips. Nearby is a nice pub with many nice people and in 15 minutes walk is a beautiful swimming pond.

The scenery here is exceptional, hiking and biking are a pleasure as there is little traffic, and there are many fantastic places to visit if you want to relax for a while. Most of the food and produce is organic or local, but since I am not always here, you will have to cook for yourselves most of the time. I will provide you with groceries and if you have your own vehicle, you can also go shopping if needed.

    What else ...

The house is situated in beautiful Austrian countryside near the small town of St. Leonhard in Lower Austria, surrounded by a blend of woodland and open fields. There are a few small towns within easy reach if you have your own transport. There is also a pub, bakery and small supermarket in the local village (3km). The farm is in a very isolated location and there is NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT so you must provide your own or be willing to walk to the neared bus stop (3KM approx).
    Bicycles are available.
