Huskyfarm im finnischen Lappland, 300 km im nördlichen Polarkreis
Region: Sardinia
My name is Antonio, I work in social jobs with handicap, using art (mainly theatre)... I live alone in a town of 1500 people, 10 km to the west coast Sardinia's beaches and all around is country sides and mountain (Montiferru Chains). My house is not at all a luxury house, is very simple but cozy, with basic stuffs. There is only my bedroom and a studio where I can host people (and kitchen, livingroom and toilet). I have a garden with vegetables and olive trees, I also cultivate a vineyard with my father (who lives with the family in another house, 200mt from me and sometimes wants me to help him in his farm: he feeds horses, cows, sheeps, donkies and he cultivates and harvests the hay). I have lot of friends and lot of happenings to have fun and not to stay home with nothing to do:-) ... and I like to ride my bicycle!Region:
...ever close your eyes,- ever stop and listen, ever feel alive- and you have nothing missing. YOU DON'T NEED A REASON- let the day go on and on... /Enya/ We are a young latvian couple - Linda and Renars.. ... living in a London throughout winter, but coming back to our country house in the summer time. :) There with us lives Linda's grandma, young dog boy and a cat. :) Renars is connected with IT and web things, but Linda is a freelance artist/designer. ..just lost in nature and touched its beauty... ...and ART IS EVERYWHERE... We can find inspiration in all ways we can.... ....In tall grass, ....in small old town with smell of spring or big city with graphical glasses, ....in sound of grasshopper,or in old old yellow newspapers list who can tell us story... We really enjoy all what life offers to us... It could be possibilities, people or just the rainy or shiny weather... :D we like people a lot... :) and we like to share... :) Share good moments, time, smiles, picnics and millions of small details what are all around... :) ...EVERYTHING IS FOR A REASON.... AND FOR A GOOD REASON....Region: Andalucia
I have a large cortijo in the Andalusian countryside that I'd like to turn into a yoga/meditation centre among other things. I've had the house since 1974 and it was always used as a family holiday home but now my family are all grown up and the house doesn't get used as much as it deserves. There's 50,000m2 of land to tender and I'd very much like to create a herb garden and veggie patch so we can provide good, home grown food for guests. The house is 9km from the nearest town and is set adjacent to a natural park. The scenery is stunning and there are lots of great walks so would suit a real country lover. There is internet access via satellite but no TV (yet) just lots of books.Region: Nova Scotia
We're a small backpackers hostel overlooking the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes and surrounded by trees, fresh air and wildlife. We're open each year from May until late October and just down the road from the start of the Cabot Trail. If you enjoy being active, we are close by to hiking, kayaking, biking, swimming and beaches. Workawayers are welcome to help with landscaping, housekeeping, renovations and building projects, website optimization, helping travellers, answering phones etc . We host hundreds of international backpackers each season and invite you to be part of this great place! Late afternoon and night is left for BBQ's, reading in the hammocks, campfires, and music. Please contact at least a few days before as we only have room for 1-2 workawayers at a time and we don't want to disappoint. Time of stay is flexible but I prefer a minimum of 3 days. Special consideration is given to those with carpentry, building and electrical skills as we are hoping to build a couple cabins from recycled barn wood and run by solar power. Talk to you soon!Region: Languedoc Roussillon
Come experience a quiet but rich life in the heart of Les Cévennes, France. We are a small family of 3, Annabel, Nicolas and our little girl Lucine, who's over 4 months. My life-partner and I live in a remote, lovely and peaceful countryside in the South of France where we've been trying to renovate our small stone house while raising our baby, taking care of our whole organic vegetable garden and restoring the traditional stone walled-fields around the house... A little bit too much on our shoulders it seems! We spent some time abroad, miss the intercultural life and meeting new people. We speak a fair amount of languages and would love to find a way to experience another intercultural experience while at home!!
