A small organic farm, that is run by two women. We grow crops on 10 hectares land. The crops are onions, carrots, pumpkins for seed and flowers for seed and luzerne. We have a few very attaching cats and wonderful chicken that wander around the garden. We have a farmgarden with fruit- and nut trees and they are housing a lot of birds. The view is wide and sunsets are magnificant here. The farm is situated in an agricultural environment. Our aim is to live, use and make a living on this bit of paradise while respecting the land around us. We prefer to have a simple lifestyle. We’re interested in sharing our insights – and learning more from people that come into our lives. We believe that respectful food growing/collecting is nourishing for the soul and body. We want to live in harmony with the beautiful mother earth that is providing us with everything we need. The work we can offer is mostly weeding and work in the (kitchen)garden. We ask about 25 hours work a week in 5 days in exchange of board and lodging. We prefer a minimum stay of 2 weeks. We provide healthy, organic and vergetarian food. We prefer non-smokers. Smoking only at permitted places.Region: Montana
Hi, our names are Andrew and Hilary. We are a young family with two children, our son age 4 and our daughter age 1 and are looking for a fun, easy going, responsible girl to help us care for our children this summer. We live and ranch in Centennial Valley, Montana. We raise all natural grass finished beef cattle, train horses and enjoy the wide open spaces. The ranch encompasses 30,000+ acres of mountainous terrain with a river winding through. We border the Red Rocks National Wildlife Refuge and are only 40 miles from Yellowstone National Park. We are a working ranch focused on holistic resource management. We run close to 2000 cattle and 40 horses. We also have a ranch guest program which allows people from around the country and the world to come visit and participate in ranch activities, learn about range land management, low stress stockmanship, natural horsemanship and wildlife ecology. Our house is very small but cozy but we make up for the space we lack indoors with 30,000 acres to run wild in outdoors. We also have three working dogs, two cats and lots of chickens (and sometimes a new baby calf or two that needs help getting started in life). We would love to share our life and our home and our experience with anyone who is interested in learning more about ranching, wildlife, child care and experiencing a way of life that is closely tied to the land.Region: Provence Alpes Azur
We are a family with two children aged 7 and 5, a daughter and a boy. We have a nice house in a touristic small town, with a swimming pool, not far from Avignon. I am interested in getting the children used to other cultures and to english language: I am looking for an english speaking woman to spend a few hours a day teaching them english in an informal way, or taking care of them. I speak fluently english.Region: Andalucia
I have a large cortijo in the Andalusian countryside that I'd like to turn into a yoga/meditation centre among other things. I've had the house since 1974 and it was always used as a family holiday home but now my family are all grown up and the house doesn't get used as much as it deserves. There's 50,000m2 of land to tender and I'd very much like to create a herb garden and veggie patch so we can provide good, home grown food for guests. The house is 9km from the nearest town and is set adjacent to a natural park. The scenery is stunning and there are lots of great walks so would suit a real country lover. There is internet access via satellite but no TV (yet) just lots of books.Region: North East 45 k north of Veliko Tarnovo
There is myself, my husband Neville and seven various dogs all rescue dogs, very excitable but very lovely. So it's a good idea that you really do like dogs. Oh and we have one cat that pops home every now and then. He has only three legs. We need help to weed that garden, clear a field, help with erecting a fence and maybe some painting..Also some cooking if you feel like it. Any help at all , doing anything that needs to be done. We have a small bedroom with two single beds, and although we are not great cooks we do manage to survive.I am good at Baked Beans on Toast ,,,if I don't burn the beans!!! Neville was very ill earlier this year and is not quite up to being able to do some of the work that he could do before. he is trying hard but is struggling...so we could do with a bit of ! If you feel that you could spare us a week or even two we would be forever grateful.... Sushitsa is a small agricultural village,Nine shops, a library, post office, doctior's surgery and dental practice. There are three buses a day but at night it is a taxi which are cheap and reliable. We have English TV as well as Bulgarian..also the internet
