  We are a hostel that loves to welcome new people, to learn about different cultures and laugh and share our experiences with you.
  
  This hostel exists for nearly seven years now and this place was one of the first backpackers-hostels in this beautifull town.
  In all those years we learned a lot about different cultures and people but figured out as well that there are always new things to learn and to experience and you should never stop to explore.
  
  That´s why we are always searching for new ideas and inspirations to improve ourselfs and the hostel so our guests always have an amazing time here.
  Hosting volunteers is for that a perfect oportunity to excange experiences, ideas and a great time.
   
  Our main goal is that travelers who visit us will have the best experience possible in Filandia and leave with a smile on their faces.
  We live since 30 years in this place and we know the whole environment, secret places and nice tips we are always happy to share with our guests and volunteers.
  
  We do tourist information, tours, bike rental, movie-/gaming-/or music-nights, attention to the guest, helping them in every way possible and trying to give them the opportunity to explore this lovely area in every way possible.
  As well we are trying to live with the nature, which means that we are always trying to improve the awarenes for that topic by seperate the trash, planting trees and giving further information.
  
  We are looking forward to work with you and spending a tremendous time here in our lovely Filandia.

  Somos un hostal que ama recibir gente nueva, aprender sobre diferentes culturas y reír y compartir nuestras experiencias con usted.
  
  Este hostal existe desde hace casi siete años y este lugar fue uno de los primeros albergues para mochileros en esta hermosa ciudad.
  En todos esos años, aprendimos mucho sobre diferentes culturas y personas, pero también descubrimos que siempre hay cosas nuevas que aprender y experimentar y que nunca debes detenerte a explorar.
  
  Es por eso que siempre estamos buscando nuevas ideas e inspiraciones para mejorarnos a nosotros mismos y al albergue para que nuestros huéspedes siempre pasen un momento increíble aquí.
  Ser el anfitrión de voluntarios es una oportunidad perfecta para intercambiar experiencias, ideas y pasar un buen rato.
  
  Nuestro principal objetivo es que los viajeros que nos visiten tengan la mejor experiencia posible en Filandia y se vayan con una sonrisa en la cara.
  Vivimos desde hace 30 años en este lugar y conocemos todo el entorno, lugares secretos y buenos consejos que siempre estamos felices de compartir con nuestros huéspedes y voluntarios.
  
  Hacemos información turística, tours, alquiler de bicicletas, noches de peliculas, juegos o musica, atención al huésped, ayudándoles de todas las maneras posibles y tratando de darles la oportunidad de explorar esta hermosa área de todas las formas posibles.
  Además, estamos tratando de vivir con la naturaleza, lo que significa que siempre estamos tratando de mejorar la conciencia sobre ese tema separando la basura, plantando árboles y brindando más información.
  
  Esperamos con interés trabajar con usted y pasar un tiempo tremendo aquí en nuestra encantadora Filandia.

  In our region they will be able to learn about the coffee process and the beautifull nature in our mountains in Quindío.
  Filandia is surrounded by mountains, rivers, coffee plantations and beautiful people that makes the traveler feel at home. You will get to know the locals and the way of life in an authentic colombian village.
  And, depending on what is going to be your thing to do, you will improve your skills, experiences and Spanish.
  
  ESPAÑOL:
  
  En nuestra región podrán aprender sobre el proceso del café y la hermosa naturaleza de nuestras montañas en el Quindío.
  Filandia está rodeada de montañas, ríos, cafetales y gente guapa que hace que el viajero se sienta como en casa. Conocerás a los lugareños y la forma de vida en un auténtico pueblo colombiano.
  Y, dependiendo de lo que vaya a hacer, mejorará sus habilidades, experiencias y español.

  ENGLISH:
  
  If you want to volunteer in our hostel you can help us from 4 to 5 hours a day.
  You can help us in many ways:
  
  if you have skills like playing guitar or some other instrument you can make in the evenings some music for the guests.
  if you are speaking other languages you can share your knowledge with us and others. ​​
  As well we are always changing and improving our hostel itself, so if you are good in doing repairs and construction, you are perfect as well.
  if you want to be a touristic guide and showing people around doing tours, entertaining the guests and finding new things to do, this is your place as well.
  If you want to help out in the reception or the hostel itself...as well things on the computer, perfect.
  We are always searching for new projects with nature or yoga or whatever is possible for our guests to give them a nice experience.
  
  Well there are so many things to do and so many ideas we would love to share with you.
  If you for example have something special you want to share or do here we are always open for new things as well.
  Just come and have a talk and we´ll find nice and productive things to do during your stay.
  
  It would be nice if you speak at least a bit of Spanish and English, since our clients can be from colombia or all around the world and not everyone speaks english.
  It is very important for us that you enjoy talking to people and being willing to help with other travelers, it is important that you like sharing and making friends and always spread good energy, because that is what we like to do here in our hostel.
  
  We want our volunteers to feel part of our family.
  That´s why we are open to everything and will welcome you with open arms.
  
  
  ESPAÑOL:
  
  Si quieres ser voluntario en nuestro hostal puedes ayudarnos de 4 a 5 horas al día.
  Puedes ayudarnos de muchas maneras:
  
  Si tiene habilidades como tocar la guitarra o algún otro instrumento, puede hacer música por las noches para los invitados.
  Si habla otros idiomas, puede compartir sus conocimientos con nosotros y con otros.
  Además, siempre estamos cambiando y mejorando nuestro albergue en sí, por lo que si eres bueno haciendo reparaciones y construcción, también eres perfecto.
   Si quieres ser una guía turística y mostrar a la gente haciendo giras, entreteniendo a los invitados y encontrando cosas nuevas que hacer, este es tu lugar también
   Si quieres ayudar en la recepción o en el albergue en sí ... así como cosas en la computadora, perfecto.
  Siempre estamos buscando nuevos proyectos con la naturaleza o el yoga o lo que sea posible para que nuestros huéspedes les den una experiencia agradable.
  
  Bueno, hay tantas cosas que hacer y tantas ideas que nos encantaría compartir con ustedes.
  Si, por ejemplo, tiene algo especial que desea compartir o hacer aquí, siempre estamos abiertos a nuevas cosas también.
  Solo venga y hable y encontraremos cosas agradables y productivas para hacer durante su estadía.
  
  Sería bueno que hables al menos un poco de español e inglés, ya que nuestros clientes pueden ser de Colombia o de todo el mundo y no todos hablan inglés.
  Es muy importante para nosotros que disfrutes hablar con la gente y estar dispuesto a ayudar con otros viajeros, es importante que te guste compartir y hacer amigos y siempre difundir buena energía, porque eso es lo que nos gusta hacer aquí en nuestro albergue.
  
  Queremos que nuestros voluntarios se sientan parte de nuestra familia.
  Por eso estamos abiertos a todo y lo recibiremos con los brazos abiertos.

  All the coffee culture is super intersting.
  You will get to know places almost virgin in the Bremen reserve, a large canyon around Filandia. walk through the jungle, see howler monkeys, birds and rivers with waterfalls.
  You can enjoy the best coffee of colombia in one of our many cafés and enjoy delicious food in one of the most famous restaurants of this region.
  in the nights of the weekends the center of the town becomes the point of meeting of all the inhabitants, it is a place with much movement of locals and good party, beer and friends.

  Toda la cultura del café es súper interesante.
  Conocerás lugares casi vírgenes en la reserva de Bremen, un gran cañón alrededor de Filandia. caminar a través de selva, ver monos aulladores, pájaros y ríos con cascadas.
  Puedes disfrutar del mejor café de colombia en uno de nuestros muchos cafés y disfrutar de una deliciosa comida en uno de los restaurantes más famosos de esta región.
    En las noches de los fines de semana, el centro de la ciudad se convierte en el punto de encuentro de todos los habitantes, es un lugar con mucho movimiento de locales y buena fiesta, cerveza y amigos.
