  Location: We are located approximately 2 hours from Puyo by bus. From Puyo take the transport companies: CENTINELA del ORIENTE or the Rio Tigre with direction via villain to the community of Chuya Yaku.
  
  Puyo offers a rich diversity in the flora and fauna of the Amazon. It is a tourist place for those who want to be part of nature and enjoy the tranquility of the jungle.
  
  Pastaza is home to several indigenous or ancestral nationalities: SHUAR, KICHWA, WAORANI, ANDWA, SHIWIAR, ACHWARS and SAPARA, each with its own customs and stories.
  
  The inhabitants of Chuya Yaku focus on agriculture as their main source of livelihood, however, there are other products that are cultivated by the community. It should also be borne in mind that most of the cultivated products are used for sourcing within Chuya Yaku.
  
  Most families work in the production of cocoa, grow fiber, naranjilla, corn, cassava and other products.
  
  The inhabitants of the community create elaborate typical crafts that include pottery, necklaces, bracelets and earrings with seeds and other local materials. These products are sold locally.
  
  It is a topic of interest to the local population, which combines the richness and biodiversity of the landscape with cultural exchange. We hope to provide a new economic alternative for the Chuya Yaku community by combining ecotourism with cultural activities.
  
  
  
  Ubicación: Estamos ubicados a aproximadamente 2 horas de Puyo en autobús. Desde puyo tome las companias de transporte: CENTINELA del ORIENTE o la Rio Tigre con direccion via villano hasta la comunidad de Chuya Yaku.
  
  Puyo ofrece una rica diversidad en la flora y fauna de la Amazonía. Es un lugar turístico para aquellos que quieren ser parte de la naturaleza y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la selva.
  
  Pastaza es el hogar de varias nacionalidades indígenas o ancestrales: SHUAR, KICHWA, WAORANI, ANDWA, SHIWIAR, ACHWARS y SAPARA, cada una con sus propias costumbres e historias.
  
  Los habitantes de Chuya Yaku se centran en la agricultura como su principal fuente de sustento, sin embargo, hay otros productos que son cultivados por la comunidad. También se debe tener en cuenta que la mayoría de los productos cultivados se utilizan para aprovisionamiento dentro de Chuya Yaku.
  
  La mayoría de las familias trabajan en la producción de cacao, cultivan fibra, naranjilla, maíz, yuca y otros productos.
  
  Los habitantes de la comunidad crean artesanías típicas elaboradas que incluyen cerámica, collares, pulseras y aretes con semillas y otros materiales locales. Estos productos se venden localmente.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  Volunteers can visit Kichwas indigenous communities, swim in the river, walk in caves, visit Puyo, walk to the jungle with people from the community and enjoy the beautiful and relaxing landscape. The main benefit is to experience an indigenous culture, the daily life of each of the locals, learn the Kichwa and Shuar language, learn or improve Spanish, learn to cook local food, gain experience in the field of planting products in the area , experience new customs, dance and cultural music live with the forest.
  
  Los voluntarios pueden visitar comunidades indígenas kichwas, nadar en el río, caminar en cavernas, visitar Puyo, caminar a la selva con personas de la comunidad y disfrutar del hermoso y relajante paisaje. El principal beneficio es experimentar una cultura indígena, la vida cotidiana de cada uno de los lugareños, aprender el idioma kichwa y shuar aprender o mejorar el español, aprender a cocinar comida local, adquirir experiencia en el campo de la siembra de los productos del área, experimentar nuevos costumbres, danza y musica cultural convivir con el bosque.

  Arbeit

  We need people (men, women, students) who want to collaborate on the project; economic contribution to acquire construction materials for house type cabins (place of lodging in construction project), support in the teaching of the English language with the children of the community. Support with tourist vision of the sector. The daily work is 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday. In the afternoon, volunteers are free: walking, swimming in the river, playing sports, visiting tourist places (waterfalls, caves, ecological trails, etc.). On Saturdays and Sundays they are free volunteers can go to the city of Puyo for a walk or shop for the week according to the coordination. Or also visit the families of the community, participate in the elaboration of artezanias.
  
  Necesitamos personas (hombres y mujeres, estudiantes) que quieran colaborar en el proyecto; aporte economico para adquirir materiales de construccion para casa tipo cabañas (lugar de alojamiento en proyecto de construccion), apoyo en la enseñanza del idioma ingles con los niños de la comunidad. Apoyo con vision turistica del sector. El trabajo diario es de 4 horas al día de lunes a viernes. Por la tarde, los voluntarios son libres: caminar, nadar en el río, practicar deportes, visitar lugares turísticos (cascadas, cuevas, senderos ecológicos, etc.). Los sábados y domingos son libres los voluntarios pueden salir a puyo a pasear o hacer compras para la semana de acuerdo a la cordinacion. O tambien visitar las familias de la comunidad, participar en la elaboracion de artezanias.

  The volunteers stay in a family house of 7 people, the construction is made of wood. They can share the room with a partner or companion and individual.   Los voluntarios se alojan en una casa familiar de 7 personas la construccion es de madera. Podran compartir la habitacion con un compañero o compañera e individual. Traer carpas y mosquiteros personales es muy importante. Traer comidas o alimentacion a su forma de alimentarse. Hay una cocina con leña para cocinar y cocina con gas donde compartiran con toda la familia.
  Limpieza y aseo con agua potable y bañar. Hay electricidad disponible en el proyecto familiar.
  El baño es ecologico.
