Description
I am the owner of a beautiful riding stable in Bavaria. We have around 80 horses (connemara ponies and icelandic horses). The stable is located in a beautiful landscape, with great nature for outriding.
It would be an advantage if you are experienced with horses. If you like nature and animals you will love it here, you will work with one or two other people, so you don't have to be alone. I would prefer, if you could stay 8 weeks or longer.

I am looking for a responsible person, it would be perfect if you are experienced with horses. You will work with one or two other boys/girls and help them feeding, train the horses, work with young horses (depends on your experience) and give riding lessons.
You have to work for 5 hours per day and you will have one day free per week.. You will get free meal and a room in a separate house. I also offer you free riding and pocket money. .You can learn from me everything around horses.

Although I spent less than a week here, personally I felt as though it was enough to figure out whether it was for me or not. The farm itself is beautiful and the animals are lovely, but even though it was early days I found myself with very little to do throughout the day.

This was great I meet so many people, who had different English skills, but even if they only know some English they would always say hello and good bye and ask how your days going. I came here on Easter Sunday and the place was alive with children on a residential riding holiday. It was great fun and I am looking forward to the last two weeks of May, when more come to stay.

I stayed here for 7 weeks, from the 14 July till the 30 of August. When I arrived there was other 5 workawayer there and no enough work for each of us... So, we had a lot of free time! We took the breakfast together at 9 in the morning, we prepared the food for horses and we feed them.....some of the others workawayers trained the young horses (I… read more don't have this kind of experience..), we rode and obviously we cleaned....a lot!!! You have to clean near every day here, not only where you live, but also at Angelika house and all the poop and pee of her dogs in the house where we slept.....every day there was a new suprise (one or more..)! In August the children arrived (summer camp) and they lived in the same house of us... We didn't ride anymore, we just feed the horses, helped the children to prepared them for the riding lessons and stayed a lot of time with the children!!! We woke up at 7 or earlier (breakfast has to be ready at 8 and you have to prepare it) and you go sleep late because if you don't clean a bit the kitchen at night you know that you have to do it in the morning... Another thing that is really important to know is that Angelika has no patience... Klaus is completely the opposite, a very kind and nice person, a pleasure to speak with him, but unfortunately he stays at the farm only during the weekend... At the end of all, I have to say that my experience was really positive and I miss it is a wonderfull place, I met some lovely persons there that will be always in my heart, the 5 others workawayers and in particular one of them (which stayed with me till the end (or near) of my experience), they were the best part of this experience, I found a real friend!!...and I'm sure that Angelika is a good person, but maybe she needs a very long holiday!!!! So, if you are looking for an experience with horses and you want to learn about horses, this is not the right place for you.... but if you like children.....maybe is the right place! I wouldn't suggest this place for young sensible people because Angelika can be really hard and I saw people crying there.... If you will go in Augurst, when the children are there you will not have free time...just a couple of hours during the day....but no free time to go somewhere... but....if you will be lucky as I was....it will be a wonderfull and usefull experience..... I miss the horses, my friend Réka and the daily life there together!
