Description
We are Bosquenautas, Forestnauts. We are two brothers, 31 and 38, who are stewards and listeners of a landscape unlike any other in the region, helping it evolve, realize its potential and become its own dream. We participate in a permaculture network, so to speak, from many different parts of Galicia and Northern Portugal, doing many different kinds of things.
Our project has two aspects:
The Forest Gardening
The Liveo Game: Like a video game, but in real life, we believe play, through theater, myth, story, art, physical movement and sports,
We envision and design settings where a person can dance, heal, get together, play, create, work, eat and experience life embedded in nature, live according to the human values of life in a context of nature.
We have begun a forest garden for all senses, the mind mind, body and spirit. Exploring the possibility of new worlds, as new ecosystems here on earth via a partnership between our consciousness and nature. The trees have begun to change the energy of the place, setting the stage for what is to come.
This is a long process, we grow slowly as the trees do, we are in no hurry. If one has the eyes to see and the ears, to listen, one can see what is emerging here :)
We aren't in great need of physical labor, we manage for the most part. Right now, we are interested in starting out with shorter visits, a week or so, since we travel a lot and aren't often home for more than two weeks at a time. If we get along and something longer works out, we don't mind people staying in the house while we are away.
We have this account as a doorway for those people for whom it would be auspicious to meet and share with :)
Somos bosquenautas. Somos dos hermanos, de 29 y 36, cuidadores y escuchadores de un paisaje como ninguna en la región, ayudándolo a evolucionar, realizar su potencial y llegar a ser su propio sueño. Participamos en un red de permacultura, para llamarlo así, que atraviesa muchas partes de Galicia y el Norte de Portugal donde hacemos todos tipos de cosas.
Concebimos y diseñamos marcos donde uno puede bailar, sanar, juntarse, jugar, crear, trabajar, comer y experimentar la vida empotrado en la naturaleza donde se celebran los valores de la humanidad en un contexto natural. LO árbioles han cambiado la energía del lugar, preparando el camino por lo que esta para venir.
Hemos comenzado un bosque comestible para todos los sentidos, la mente, el cuerpo y el alma. Explorando la posibilidad de nuevos mundos, nuevos ecosistemas aquí en la tierra a través de una colaboración entre la consciencia humana y la naturaleza.
Esto es un largo proceso, crecemos lentamente según crecen los árboles, no tenemos prisa. Ahora mismo, nos interesan visita corta, una semana mas o menos, porque viajamos mucho y no solemos estar en casa mas de un par de semanas a la vez. Si nos llevamos bien y se arregla una visita mas larga, no nos molesta que alguien se quede en la casa mientras que estamos fuera.
Si uno tiene ojos para ver y oídos para escuchar, uno puede ver lo que aquí esta surgiendo :)
No tenemos gran necesidad de mano de obra, andamos bien. Tenemos esta cuenta como una puerta a las personas a cuales sería propicio conocer y compartir :)

The "Help"
We’re experienced in permaculture, forest gardening and agroforestry in both practice and theory, as students and as teachers, but this isn't a professional farm or business. We manage the land, build soil and garden, but right now we aren't doing any of that very rigorously, so this may not be the place to learn if cultivating for high yields is your main goal. We're just kind of making a cool and sacred place come alive. Maybe it will be for kids, maybe a living piece of art, maybe a space for theater and role playing,, its all still becoming clear.
What we do outside could include many things, building soil, building with clay, creating water systems (ponds, swales, gray water) planting trees, mulching, playing music, land art, composting, fencing , observing, tending gardens.
Or we might be indoors spending time on ourselves, writing, meditating, dancing, stretching, designing, designing courses, reading, being creative, doing shadow work, playing music, singing, creating, growing, healing,
Relationship in the Space
This all depends on the season and how we're feeling during the time you are with us. We may be very social or we might be feeling introspective. Either way we are very judgement-free of other people, but also honest about our feelings and preferences.
In time we would like to include find collaborations that put the best of humanity: play, theater, healing, alternative economics, the arts in to forest gardening in general, wherever that project may be.
We're also interested in natural medicine and nutrition! Beyond forest gardening and soil building, we want to surround the gardens with creativity, art, videos, information and inspiration! In other words, we want to learn what you do and place it an ecosystem. So if you are an artist, musician, filmmaker, graphic designer, there may be a collaboration here
We’re interested in sharing our incipient forest garden with creative and visionary souls in other fields who want to express and immerse themselves in nature.
We are very conscious and open-minded but also very sensitive, we trust that the right people know what this means!
What Kind of People Fit In Here
So this place best for people who have developed inner security and autonomy and don't mind being autonomous and managing their own time. We're not trying to get free labor, this is just a doorway to connect and build the network of people that are dispelling fear and opening up love. People who are self-directed, and have a clear understanding of what they want to be doing.
Time and Exchange
We take a hands off approach, we don't measure hours or assign tasks. We may offer some "quests" as one would get in a video game, but how and whether you do them is your decision, this requires a level of comfort and communication where one does not feel the obligation "to have to be doing something"
Also, if you're a person that likes to be self-taught and self-directed, there's plenty of space here experiment, explore and learn new techniques, even if we aren't doing them the same thing at the moment. From collecting apples and canning them to building a tower!
We don't measure hours or provide a recipe of tasks every day so this is a situation for people who are comfortable with freedom and a relationship that is not quid-pro-quo hours for food and housing. Do what you want, we trust that its good! People who simply want to enjoy each day and explore a rebirth of relationships between humanity and Gaia.
Food and Cooking
We have some organic fruit, nuts and vegetables from the garden, depending on the season and whether we have been home enough time to have been gardening. The kitchen is stacked with staple foods.
Obviously, we respect and all diets and being vegan here is very easy. We don't have meat. Right now we don't have eggs but we may in the future.
Since this isn't a workplace, we are also very flexible on cooking, we don't promise to cook every day but there is plenty of food to prepare whenever you are hungry. As we offer you complete freedom, we are also completely free and don't cook everyday!
We trust that mature communication can get the meals made, sometimes we will all eat together and sometime people will follow their own biorhythms.

La "Ayuda"
Somos experimentados en la permacultura, los bosques comestibles y la agroforestería, en teoría y práctica, como alumnos y profesores. Pero esto no es una granja profesional. Gestionamos el terreno, mejorando el suelo y cultivando pero no lo estamos haciendo de manera rigurosa entonces puede que este no sea el mejor sitio para tu enfoque es aprender a cultivar al nivel anual o perenne.
Estamos simplemente haciendo que un espacio guay y sagrado tome vida. Quizás será para niños, o será una obra de arte viva o será un espacio para teatro y juegos de rol, aún se esta revelando.
Al aire libre hay muchas cosas que podríamos estar haciendo, crear suelo, construir con barro, plantar árboles, crear sistemas de agua (estanques, zanjas de infiltración, aguas grises), compostar, land art, acolchar, tocar música, observar, pintar, construir cercos, mantener huertos.
O quizás estamos pasando nuestro tiempo adentro con nosotros mismos, escribiendo, meditando, bailando, estirando, diseñando, leyendo, siendo creativos, trabajando la sombra, cantando, creciendo, sanando.
Relaciones en el Espacio
Esto depende de la estación y como nos sentimos a la hora de encontrarnos. Quizás estamos muy sociables o un poco mas para adentro. Den cualquier manera, estamos libres de juicio de los demás, pero también somos honestos con nuestros sentimientos y preferencias.
Con tiempo nos gustaría encontrar colaboraciones que ponen lo mejor de la humanidad, el juego, teatro, sanación, economía alternativa, arte y humanidades dentro de los bosque comestibles en general, sea donde sea el proyecto.
Así que no interesa compartir este vergel naciente con almas creativas y visionarias en otros campos que quieran expresarse y sumergirse en la naturaleza.
También nos interesan las plantas medicinales y la nutrición. Queremos incluir en el proyecto creatividad, arte, videos, información, inspiración, es decir queremos aprender lo que haces y meterlo en un ecosistema. Asi que se eres artista, bailarín, músico, haces cine o diseño gráfico, puede haber aquí una colaboración
Somos muy conscientes y de mente abierta pero también muy sensibles, espero que la gente entienda lo que esto quiere decir!
Que Tipo de Persona Encaja Bien Aquí
Este es un buen sitio para personas que han desarrollado una seguridad interior y autonomía y están acostumbrados a auto-gestionarse y que disfrutan de gestionar su tiempo. No nos interesa conseguir mano de obra gratis, esto es simplemente una puerta para conectar y crear redes con las personas que están desvaneciendo el miedo y abriendo su corazón. Entonces personas que se auto-dirigen y tienen una idea clara de lo que quieren estar haciendo
Tiempo e Intercambio
Aquí tomamos una filosofía de no intervenir o dirigir. No medidos horas de trabajo ni esperamos ninguna cantidad. Podríamos ofrecer "misiones" como en un video juego pero como los haces o si los haces es tu decisión. Esto requiere un nivel de comodidad y comunicación y una falta de sensación de la obligación de "tener que estar haciendo algo."
Entonces si eres auto-didact@ y auto-dirigid@, aquí hay mucho espacio y tiempo para experimentar, aún si no nestamos haciendo la misma cosa a la vez. Desde simplemente recoger y conservar manzanas a construir una atalaya.
Entonces no hay aquí toma y daca, buscamos personas que están comod@s con la libertad de ofrecer el don que tengan el tiempo que puedan y quieran. Personas que simplemente quieren disfrutar cada día y el renacer de la relación entre sere humanos y la Pacha.
Comida y Cocina
Tenemos algo de fruta, fruto seco y verdura del huerto, dependiendo de la estación y si hemos estado en casa en los últimos meses para cultivar. En la cocina hay de todo.
Evidentemente, respetamos todos dietas, ser vegano aquí es fácil. No tenemos carne, Ahora mismo no hay huevos pero quizás en el futuro.
Como esto no es un negocio, somos muy flexibles con los horarios de cocina. Nos gusta cocinar pero no de manera puntual y no te vamos a hacer de comer siempre. Como ofrecemos libertad, nosotros también tenemos la libertad de no cocinar cuando no queremos, pero siempre puedes coger comida o cocinar cuando tienes hambre!

We don't drive, so you will have to walk up a hill for 25 minutes to get here!!!
En el tiempo libre uno puede pasear por el monte y el Río Ulla. Estamos a veinte minutos de Santiago en bus, hay espacio para ser creativo, relajarse, wifi, estudiar, conocerse...
No conducimos así que tendrás que caminar 25 minutos cuesta arriba para llegar!
