    Description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our wild apple orchard!!

Our family moved from downtown Toronto to this special place so we can learn and grow with the land.

Would you like to join us on this journey?
We have free range chickens, our dog Biscuit and cat Betty, with wild animals that travel through the migrational lines that cross the land.

our focus is on small repairs and projects, I have a medicine garden and are are working on a food forest filled with wild edibles. I invite you to contribute to our process, I can share with you the plant spirit medicines and sustainable foraging practices

Coming to this place is an expression of radical activism, as we rewild the landscape and create counter cultural practices that cultivate a depth of connection with self and the more than human world.

If this is a journey you resonate to, join us and dive into your this process of autonomous discovery.

We are looking for some who is dedicated supporting our initiative. It’s our hope that you come to learn something meaningful during your stay, that you might contribute to the cohesion of our space, and return home with something valuable to share with your community

We invite you to take excursions to nearby campsites like Bon echo and beyond, if you are driving independently. We can arrange your drop off and pick up locally. In the summertime camping is an option, but we also have a room, as you wish

We are inviting responsible, hardworking individuals to help us around the house and forest, who are capable of contributing no more than 5 hours a day.

We are located in Southern Ontario, 2.5 hours east of Toronto. We offer private accommodations, wi-fi, shared bathrooms, laundry and sustenance!!

Please reach out in response to the projects that interest you

With lots of time to relax and plan your own activities, you will be guided on your projects, and will have flexibility in your own schedule. we ask that you walk gently, being mindful of your impact on the land. Please reach out if your are self regulating and reliable, as your experience will be led by you. We hope this freedom suits you. Space is limited so please understand your subjective roles and responsibilities during your stay.

Land is first teacher and favourite healer, we walk gently so we can be present to the world around us, and cultivate relationships in a good way, having minimal impact and avoiding harming the collective, human and more than
