Come and join us at the circus! We’re a family building up a stationary circus infrastructure where dreams of children and adults come true. My father is a professional Clown called Mugg. A few years ago he startet with my brother and me to organize circus camps for Kids. So we had to construct lots of caravans and tents. Today we’re teaching kids, adults and handicapped persons in different circus arts, cook fresh food for our guests an rebuild old caravans. But there’s more to do than what we’re able to. Therefore, we’re looking for you to support us!Area: Scotland
We are a family of four although our eldest is now away. We own a beautiful 40 acre croft on a Scottish Island called Lismore. It is a long, slim island situated at the mouth of the great Glen in loch Linnhe, Argyll and is easy to get to (5 min from Appin and 50 min from Oban by boat). This is a lush, fertile island with incredible views of the surrounding mountains and waters. Our vision is to create a beautiful and inspirational nugget of Scotland where we can live self sufficiently and gently on the land, however we have a lot to do to get there and need plenty of help. I am a textile artist and run my business from a studio on the croft. I run textile retreats as well as make products and commissions for sale. My husband is a house builder however he will soon turn his focus to all the things that need attending to on our land. We have 36 sheep (Black face and Shetland), 3 hens, 3 cats and one dog so if you're allergic to animal hair, best stear clear! We are easy going, sociable and both love and play music. We are non smokers and we do eat meat but lots of salads and vegetables too. The community of Lismore is a vibrant and sociable one with a population of around 180. There are endless activities including cinema nights, country dancing, house ceilidh's, concerts and more. Sarah runs the community choir so singers are always welcome. Everybody knows each other and it is a bit like a very large family.Area: Midi Pyrenees
Bonjour! We are Eyal and Tia. Our lovely home and garden are on the side of a forested hill overlooking farmland and with an ever-changing view of the Pyrenees. The house is modern, with spacious rooms. Several French doors let light into the double-volume lounge, and open onto a terrace and swimming pool. We and our cats, Liquorice, Blackjack and Caramelle, would love to share it with you. We work from home in programming, web development and writing. We are also starting a business linked to our vision for this beautiful house: We have guest accommodation and aim to attract local and international facilitators and guests for integrative creative workshops of various kinds (combining singing, music, poetry, yoga, dancing, Shakespeare, new media, psychotherapy, dialogue, etc.). Most of the work we need help with relates to this venture - we need to keep up with the day jobs while making and keeping the house and garden welcoming, comfortable, restful and inspiring for guests. We work hard, but we also enjoy the lovely views, swim, cycle, walk, and do yoga, and we love sightseeing, socialising and joining in community activities. Oh, and did we mention the food? Our region is famous for duck and wine, as well as tasty vegetables, meats and cheeses from local markets. We've travelled and lived in several countries and have had firsthand experience of the pleasures and challenges of travelling, so we will help you with advice or contacts whenever we can, and take you with us when we go out to explore the sights, local events and gastronomy. We are adventurous with food and will usually try anything at least once!Area:
Passionate traveler caught up, touched and formed a kids home where I enjoy live alongside by the locals in Uganda. Offer the past years I have traveled Asia but have never found a place with such unique cultures, languages and traditions as Uganda. I arrived here back in the 2011 and started a small orphanage of 15 kids who I thereof live with in our house in Kampala. I enjoy exploring authentic different landscapes, national parks and everything that Uganda has. Culture and sharing are my favourite, local traditions with others.
