The work can be hard, but so is the play. We're a young family fixing up a country house, raising our two children, cultivating an organic garden, caring for 50 olive trees, but mainly just trying to have fun. We enjoy a location near Chiusi in Central Italy, halfway between Roma and Firenze, Assisi and Siena. The house and grounds are surrounded by an old estate ensuring privacy and providing swimming pools, tennis courts, playing fields, and wooded parkland.

We offer a volunteer job for people who would like to work and live in Spain we offer a house on an outside farm with a very special and nice environment, learning to milk goats, having fresh eggs from free roaming chicken, riding horses, drinking water from a very healthy well, full accommodation thats what we offer to you! We need honest people who like to experience a special life for some month. We do not need people who are experienced in horseriding, as this is our job, But you are welcome to ride if everything works out

We run a husky farm and a centre for Arctic and Polar exploration. Our husky farm has, at present, 79 adult dogs and 5 pups. Throughout the year, there are standard tasks that volunteers can help with on the farm and then there are additional daily duties that change with the seasons: from lead-dog / puppy training / construction & maintenance work in the Summer, through dog-conditioning and safari preparation work in the Autumn, to actually running safaris and entertaining guests in the Winter and Spring. Our farm is located c. 4km from the main village of Hetta in the region of Enontekio, in Finnish Lapland. There is a small downhill ski centre locally, 120km of XC ski tracks and many opportunities for hiking and kayaking in the summer through one of the most beautiful national parks in Scandinavia. The farm owners are ex professional athletes / explorers - one of whom was the first finn to complete an unsupported expedition to the South Pole, so this is a good place to visit for those who really want to expand their outdoor skills. Having said that, working days here and long and the conditions can be pretty tough, so if you choose to come here, please expect a challenging adventure as opposed to a relaxing holiday. To that end, we have a comprehensive guide manual that we send out to prospective volunteers that pretty much covers everything about life and work on our Arctic farm.

Area: Nothern Territory

A refuge for orphaned or injured native animals near a National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is the ideal place for rehabilitated Kangaroos to be released back into the wild. On our project these animals are fed and nurtured with great care and dedication. The property is a private piece of Australian bushland, founded the by resident owner on her own initiative. The idea grew out of her love for Kangaroos and other native animals. The property was purchased in 1995. It was a virgin block of native bushland, with no access road from the main highway. An eight kilometre long dirt road had to be established. we have single handedly carved from the bush a wonderful and peaceful way of life.

This is a small 6-bedroom hotel in a tiny traditional Andalucian village deep in the mountains near Ronda. We cater to a discerning clientele who come for walking, naturewatching, relaxing. We need help (single person or a couple) from now (8 May) until the beginning of June. If you would like a short sojourn in a beautiful valley with great walking at this perfect time of year, please read on! You would enjoy being in a small traditional Andalucian village setting with friendly people, some youngsters, but few foreigners so a good opportunity to improve your Spanish! You will have lots of free time, food and a place of your own with its own shower room.
