Looking for married couples to come and help out and discover beautiful Vancouver Island.
Description
We are looking for WORK PAIRS ideally a married couple. We have a hobby farm on beautiful Vancouver Island, with bicycles you can borrow, easy buses to Victoria's beautiful Inner Harbour but also easy access to walking trails and the natural beauty of the island. You will each contribute 3 hours of help a day. Winter help we require is mainly maintaining and repairing tools and equipment, painting, housekeeping, cooking. We are quiet, and hope to find like-minded people who prefer reading or hiking to pubs or parties. If you want to know more, write to me. Come to beautiful Victoria, Conde Naste number one North American destination.
We have WIFI 24/7 (unless there is a storm) and we have a rigidly non-smoking home and farm. We have a zero tolerance policy for drug use and for DAILY alcohol consumption. Mondays are usually "beer and burger" nights and Fridays are "jug wine" nights. We have consistently found that people who need to keep hard liquor with them at all times are NOT a good fit for our lifestyle.

My husband is a retired college professor who fell from an apple tree in Sept 2011 and was in an extended coma. Not expected to live, he is now a walking talking miracle. He putters on the farm and needs accompaniment most of the time. If you like literature and/or want to practice English, he loves to read and be read to.
