Young farming couple invites you to help with our 6 acre garden and seven greenhouses this coming season. Workers are welcome to work alongside other seasoned staff on our 60 acre Certified Organic vegetable farm. The intent is to create an environment where workers can work and learn about one of the fastest growing sectors in our economy. Many have enjoyed our casual and accepting atmosphere. We have a big, beautiful farmhouse and property located on the North Shore of rural Nova Scotia untouched by industry. Outdoor enthusiasts love our mountain. Group activities include but are not restricted to: swimming, sightseeing, live music parties, movies and barbecues. Your help this summer would be greatly appreciated. We hope to make it a fun and rewarding experience for everyone. We hope to hear from you soon.

We need help picking, weeding, watering around the farm. Marcus is a natural teacher and very willing to teach methods that he has had to learn through trail and error. He encourages people to become farmers and is very passionate about the need for local food.Because the program is so rewarding to us we always want it to be mutually beneficial. We plan outings twice a week at least, which could be playing basketball, a beach trip, social event etc... whatever the vote may come too. Phone access is not limited after working hours.If its not your thing to gets up at 7 in the morning, as long as you get your time in we're flexible.
