I live with my partner in beautiful rural Andalucia in the province of Granada. We have been in Spain since 2002 and now live a simple relaxed life and look forward to meeting new people. We own a holiday cave house and let it throughout the year to all nationalities. We live in a cortijo (farm house) which has been renovated and we have acquired the adjoining cortijo and are in the process of sympathetically restoring it with the aim of using it as another holiday property. We have 2 cats in the house and often there are others around the house and land.Area: Kebili
We are a couple Dutch 44 and Tunisian 32 setting up a horse farm in the very South of Tunisia, in Douz in a Bedouin culture. We have 7 horses, 3 dogs and 2 cats to look after. From the end of September until the end of May we organise horse and dromedary trekkings through the Tunisian Sahara. We only take experienced horse riders as volunteers! Others are very very welcome as (paying) guests. During summer you can expect a lot of Bedouin weddings, for photographers a must to experience!Area: 189,000 acres
We are a family operated business running brahman breeders in the Gulf of Carpentaria and a fattening operation including sheep near Longreach Central Queensland. We are a young friendly couple who have travelled overseas and know the value of staying with locals and learning the interesting ways of life. There is much to see and do in our part of QLD with beautiful wildlife & vast countryside.Area: Toowoomba on the Great Dividing Range, Queensland
At the moment we have a space from February 27. We live about 30 minutes north of Toowoomba, two hours west of Brisbane on 80 acres. It's a new place and there is lots of work to do, so we just need help in the house to free us up to get out and do the landscaping, fencing etc (which you can help us with if you prefer to be outdoors). Mum works and is also doing a PhD and Dad is away with work most of the time, so it's hard getting through the list of things we want to do! We have some horses, although we only have one that can be ridden at the moment, so our Workawayer will be able to ride sometimes if they are experienced at riding (some competition experience is what we would be looking for in jumping, dressage, western or reining). If you are hoping to ride, you must be a competent rider with fairly recent riding experience as you will have to ride by yourself most of the time. Having siad all that, it is perfectly fine if you have no horse experience at all :-)) A driver's licence and safe and competent driving skills are absolutely necessary as we are way out of town. We have access to beautiful riding and bushwalking country as our house is surrounded by bush with lots of wild animals and birds. At the moment we have a space from February 27. Much of the work we will give you will be house or garden related while I work or study and then on weekends we will tackle bigger jobs or take horses to competitions. There is plenty of time to go bushwalking with the dogs or ride and explore the area.
