Dairy farm milking 55 cows. Polytunnel and organic garden for home use. Close to seaside. Bikes and occasional lifts provided. Local town is Gorey.

Bus service to Gorey 5 minute walk. Bus and train service from Gorey to rest of Ireland. Broadband 24/7. PC supplied if you do not have your own laptop. Free land-line calls to 36 countries. Room has 2 beds, might have to share with another helper if the situation arose. Work 5 days with 2 days off to explore or relax. Farm work is physically demanding. We start work at 8am and finish at 7pm after the evening milking. Easy going low key atmosphere. Everyone has a good sense of humour. Live as one of the family. Help required all year. Sarah stayed with us for 3 months. For us they were a wonderful 3 months. She managed to make everyday a fantastic day with her great sense of humour and witty comments. We found Sarah to be extremely clever and showed great initiative when confronted with any sort of problem. She aquired many skills on the farm and showed that she can do more
I stayed with this family for three month and it was a wonderful time. The family is so nice and funny and it's really easy to feel at home on their farm. The work is every day a little bit different (besides milking the cows), but not too difficult and you can learn a lot about farming and of course about cows! I never had something to do with more

I stayed at the dairy farm for 3 months and loved it! The work was sometimes hard , but great fun at the same time. The family is absolutely lovely, very warm, welcoming and funny. You'll fell like you are a part of the family! The food is very, very tasty, the work is not too difficult and you'll learn many great things about farming, cows and more

I stayed with the Letts May to mid-July 2011, and had an awesome time. I was really lucky to end up where I did, as I first e-mailed John a week before arriving. You really feel welcome there, and before you know it, you're calling the farm "home".
