My name is Antonio, I work in social jobs with handicap, using art (mainly theatre)... I live alone in a town of 1500 people, 10 km to the west coast Sardinia's beaches and all around is country sides and mountain (Montiferru Chains). My house is not at all a luxury house, is very simple but cozy, with basic stuffs. There is only my bedroom and a studio where I can host people (and kitchen, livingroom and toilet). I have a garden with vegetables and olive trees, I also cultivate a vineyard with my father (who lives with the family in another house, 200mt from me and sometimes wants me to help him in his farm: he feeds horses, cows, sheeps, donkies and he cultivates and harvests the hay). I have lot of friends and lot of happenings to have fun and not to stay home with nothing to do:-) ... and I like to ride my bicycle!Area: Center

We are a painter and a sculptor who live and work from our waterfront home and studio on Dangar Island. We have three small children aged 8,7 and 3 years. Dangar island is situated 1hr north of Sydney by train or car and is boat assess only. The ferry runs every hour. We are keen permaculture gardeners, and have a garden filled with paintings & sculptures in amongst the fruit trees. We have a variety of subtropical fruit trees planted, happy chickens & a healthy vegetable patch. Work includes gardening, weeding, building garden paths & sheds, tree planting, maintenance of vegetable garden, making sculptures and art reproductions, painting buildings and whatever else we have to do. Must have a sense of humour and be prepared to have fun while working. Usual stay is about a week to start, however longer stays are negotiable after first few days. Although building, painting and landscaping skills would be nice the most important thing is that you are WILLING to work. We are happy to teach you new skills provided you are willing to make the effort. We have canoes and rowboats and in your spare time you are welcome to go exploring or fishing on the river estuary. Lots of great hiking and bushwalks in the surrounding national parks. Would be very happy to host Spanish, Japanese or Chinese speakers as I need to practice these languages. Must be a non smoker. We can also host couples and possibly even one or two small children too for short stays.Area: Pacific coast
Our project is a beautiful Peruvian Pacific coast ecological, artistic community founded on Vaisnava principles, strategically located on a beach, in the district of Aucallama, in the province of Huaral, one hour by bus or car (63 km) north of the capital city, Lima. We live together according to principles of non-violence, simple living and elevated thinking, and visitors can learn and experience how it is possible to live happily in harmony with nature, others, and themselves. We are looking for people that are basically open-minded and want to practice tolerance, compassion and patience.
