Young family seeks help in a midclass green hotel on the beautiful central Pacific coast of Mexico. We are a young well travelled and open minded Mexican couple with a new 6 month old baby boy just back from a 2 year round the world trip, looking for help in our family business, mostly in the reception attending our international but down to earth clientele, helping out in our restaurant during breakfast and some babysitting. We are looking for somebody with positive attitude, outgoing and reliable, ideally with very good English (most of our clients are Canadian, but also Mexican, American & European) and at least some basic Spanish and who might be wanting to expand on his/her Spanish and cultural skills while here talking to our very friendly staff (5) and Mexican guests. Our little hotel is located in the centre of our very charming costal town Barra de Navidad (4hrs southwest of Guadalajara), two blocks from the beach and with great outdoor possibilities (fishing, snorkeling, surfing, yoga, hiking, etc...) and some nightlife.

We are a young friendly couple who have travelled overseas and know the value of staying with locals and learning the interesting ways of life. There is much to see and do in our part of QLD with beautiful wildlife & vast countryside.

Area: south - coastal "litoral Norte" Mata Atlantic Rainforest

Summary: Our project is a "new" ecovillage on Ilha das Couves and we are seeking environmentally minded volunteers to help with all services involved with creating and operating a sustainable community - from bottom up. The coastal area of Sao Paulo is beautiful and part of the original mata atlantic rainforest - a highly visable and valuable earth resource. We will be planting a permaculture organic farm, clearing an eco trail system and setting up bamboo geo domes to accommodate overnight guests. Our plan is to offer educational and spiritual empowerment training programs to small groups and corporate envirnomental retreats. This opportunity has started and will continue year round. Short term and long term assignments available. Our organization is a registered Brasilian non profit. We are ready, willing and able to help you learn and grow. Brasil requires most countries to issue a tourism visa before traveling. Please check to verify what your requirements are before traveling. Note: We do not supply insurance. You can get insurance policy as necessary from private providers. Your assistance is greatly needed and appreciated. This opportunity is a great cultural exchange and unique living experience. We are spiritually minded people and value each persons contribution. We will be charging a small daily fee of 10$US per person. Funds will go towards a capital campaign to make infrastructure improvements and green utility system investments. Food and other living expenses will be shared equally. We try to keep food expenses around 15 reais per day..this includes three healthy meals each day will fresh fish, fruits, veggies, nuts etc..We have plenty of coconuts and bananas already growing and will start producing much more produce in the coming months. The boat trip to the island costs 40$ reais round trip. Please bring your own sleeping bag or linen. Also remember a towel and all personal items to make your stay comfortable.

Area: DORDOGNE ( Aquitaine - Périgord )

Farm of 20 hectares with wood, lakes, land and grass. Animals : some local kinds (chicken and rabbits), sheeps, dunkeys, ducks, cats. Garden : different kind of vegtables . Would like to start to use the BRF method. Micro-brewerie : blond, amber, wallnut, chesnut, truffle and cacoa beer ! Most of our products are transformed for our guests We have five guest rooms and two holiday houses. People with skills in building and farming are welcome. Various types of work , depending of the season, the weather conditions, the exhibitions etc ... Involved in applications of economic and ecologic energy saving .(start up) We speek Dutch, French, English and German

We are currently chillin' in Puerto Viejo, Limon, Costa Rica. We are managing this awesome little hostel and we are looking for fellow friends to help us out. We have some single rooms that we would like you to live in while you are visiting us and help us out around the place. We would be doing things such as painting, cleaning rooms, helping out in the kitchen (we are starting a new resturant), gathering coconuts, receptioning, and the obvious making new friends from around the world, and chillin' on the beach....Let us know what you think, we would love to have you!
