Area: LiguriaWe are a family of 4 members: Stefano, Angela, Beatrice (8), Valentina (11) . Our house is in a residential area near the center of the town but in a very quite district. Public transports allows to reach the house in only 20 minutes from the center (Bus or cable railway + public elevator). Public and private beachs are reachable in 40 minutes. We need a woman that takes care of our children, and possibly in English mother language. All the year is possible. Genova is a great location to have as a base to explore the widest medieval historical centre in Europe, and one of the most beautiful coasts in Italy where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Riviera. "Genoa: Le Strade Nuove and the System of the Palazzi dei Rolli" was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Volunteer can learn here Italian language or improve his/her skills, and can attend University or other schools, and can visit a lot of museums. Also sail and diving schools are available all year
Area: RiogordoWe are early retired teacher/lecturers and have owned our Spanish home for eighteen years. We renovated the Cortijo for two years and created a beautiful garden with terraces. Beyond we have olives, almonds, nisbros, figs, orange and lemon trees. We have family in the UK and they love to visit. Our area is in the countryside of La Axarquia. and it is tranquil but also busy with farmers working the land. There are rolling hills of olive and almond trees. We have views to the mountain of La Maroma and to the mountain top village of Comares. Riogordo which is typical white washed village is four kilometres away. Nature is wonderful here and yet we are less than thirty minutes from the coast. In the UK we ran English Language and Art courses in the summer and here we rent our Cortijo mainly in the high season. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Area: EuropeWe are Andy & Niki and our home in Cyprus is a holiday villa. 2 March 2014 - we need a carpenter onsite as soon as possible as the workaway carpenter who was coming has had to cancel due to family issues. If you are a carpenter do please get in touch asap! We are undertaking painting renovations, landscaping and garden works during January, February, March and possibly April 2014. The work is typically manual but will also be fun. All tools will be provided. Please note - the Villa will be rented out during the summer months. Our workaway programme is only up until April 2014. We are still on the lookout for one or more volunteers to assist with the above project. If you think you have what it takes, get in touch!
Area: Aquitaine SW FranceI built my log-house from a Scandinavian kit in 2005, double garage/workshop in 2006 and the 10x5 pool in 2011. I had some help initialy to get the walls up, and the roof on, but everything else I've done on my own. The object being to rent it as a summer holiday home while I escape to the Pyrenees, in my camper, to cycle and fish. Considering the economic climate it's working very well, I have 6 weeks booked from mid-July. The house and garage now need another coat of varnish or paint (2/3 actually) and I wouldn't mind some help! I'm a good cook, good fun and considerate, and can provide references to back-up these extravagent claims from friends who've had workaways. I'm a very keen cyclist, guitarist and lover of music. The bar in the next village has concerts 3 times a week and I go to nearly all of them. The available accomodation is either a bedroom with 2 singles or a double and own bathroom.

I have created a successful chambres d'hôtes business and grow my own organic vegetables which I put to good uce in creating delicious meals for our guests - We are both excellent chefs with Philippe my husband!
