Volunteer in the Cook islands at beach front resort
Area: Belize Jungle
We are a family in Belize nestled in the foothills of Mountain Pine Ridge and on the outskirts of an “Old World” Mennonite community. The most common word we hear to describe the place is “Paradise”. There are plenty of creek-side hammocks, a small book exchange, excellent bird watching and scenic botanical gardens. If you are seeking some adventure we offerguided and unguided jungle hikes, night hikes as well as trips to remote swimming holes, waterfalls, Maya ruins, horseback riding, river canoeing and cave exploring. Come see why theLonely Planet Guidebook said, “The sort of place you visit for a day and stay fora week."Area: Namsos
We need a volunteer from the 15th of March! We (Esther, 33 and Palli, 37) live on a farm in Bangsund (near Namsos, 180 km North of Trondheim). The farm consist of 85 ha ground, mostly forest and grassfields. We have 2 cats but no other animals. Previously, the farm was a shipyard and the main house dates from 1850 (fully renovated-see pictures). We both have full time jobs as doctors in the nearby hospital. We recently had a baby and Esther is therefore at home untill next spring. We love to have visitors and are looking for 1 or 2 persons (couple?) to help us out. We expect you to work 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We offer a room and 3 meals a day. You can also use our wireless adls internet, skype, 2 mountainbikes, small boat with motor to go onto the fjords, fishing and sports equipment. We enjoy going on weekend tours and here is the old motto the more the merrier! Please contact us when you are in the area. We are looking forward to your visit!Area: West Chilcotin, British Columbia
We are Monika and Fred and have recently joined forces in an effort to develop an organic farm/tourist destination in the wilderness of the West Chilcotin. The farm is isolated in a narrow valley and borders the large Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. Monika and I are non-smokers nearing our 60th birthdays. We are developing 10 acres for organic seed potato and vegetable production and have built a greenhouse into the mountain side for vegetables requiring more heat. We are currently working on clearing our little river of major logs to allow for rafting and are developing trails for hiking and cross country skiing. We plan to build log cabins and fencing. Until cabins are built we have a guest room in our beautifully renovated log house. The opportunities for work experience and wilderness adventure are endless.Area: Wagga wagga
We own a large scale working wheat, sheep and cattle property. Where guests are invited to observe or participate in helping with farm chores or simply to enjoy the tranquil environment of this pretty secluded pocket of Australia. Every morning children and adults alike can help with the farm round, feeding the ducks, chooks, pigs, pet lambs and milk the goat etc. Revive yourself with a scrumptious morning tea before embarking upon a walking pony or horse ride around the farmyard or an invigorating canter out in the wild, open fields
