We are a couple Dutch 44 and Tunisian 32 setting up a horse farm in the very South of Tunisia, in Douz in a Bedouin culture. We have 7 horses, 3 dogs and 2 cats to look after. From the end of September until the end of May we organise horse and dromedary trekkings through the Tunisian Sahara. We only take experienced horse riders as volunteers! Others are very very welcome as (paying) guests. During summer you can expect a lot of Bedouin weddings, for photographers a must to experience!Région: Jalisco, Mexico
We are currently full with no space for more volunteers until further notice. Thanks to all, we will advice once we have an opening again. Young family seeks help in a midclass green hotel on the beautiful central Pacific coast of Mexico. We are a young well travelled and open minded Mexican couple with a new 6 month old baby boy just back from a 2 year round the world trip, looking for help in our family business, mostly in the reception attending our international but down to earth clientele, helping out in our restaurant during breakfast and some babysitting. We are looking for somebody with positive attitude, outgoing and reliable, ideally with very good English (most of our clients are Canadian, but also Mexican, American & European) and at least some basic Spanish and who might be wanting to expand on his/her Spanish and cultural skills while here talking to our very friendly staff (5) and Mexican guests. Our little hotel is located in the centre of our very charming costal town Barra de Navidad (4hrs southwest of Guadalajara), two blocks from the beach and with great outdoor possibilities (fishing, snorkeling, surfing, yoga, hiking, etc...) and some nightlife.Région: Connacht
We are a large family running a few different enterprises during the busy summer months in a highly scenic and cultural part of Ireland. There is a blue flag 3 mile beach on our door step offering all kinds of outdoor pursuits. We have plenty of accommodation & are looking for a few workawayers who might be interested in coming to us & helping us on the farm:Région: Tanahun, Gandaki Zone
Hi My name is Manjil. I am the principal of a school in rural Nepal. The School is the only free private educational institution in the country. This is its first year. Without Volunteers, the project will not be able to run in the upcoming years. That would be terrible because a lot of children would be very sad :( There are many things you could do here. You could help teach or be involved in other ideas. Me and my friends here are constantly trying to come up with new ideas to help support this free school. We have agricultural land, art projects and construction ideas too. The families of the students support the school with vegetables and fruits and are always ready to help out in order to keep sustaining this free school.Région: Oceania
Jo and I are both long term residents of Vanuatu. Our Farm is being developed to be a working superannuation for Joe and myself, as well as a long term income for all the families involved. The tourist side of the venture is called Eden on the River, as is being connected to Paradise. My philosophy is not so much the need to be totally organic but definitely "Clean and Green". The property is 18 hectares and we operate quite a diverse operation from 1800 free range chickens producing eggs, free range pigs, tropical fruit, asparagus production, to our latest venture, tourism. We have a “petting zoo nearing completion” as well as other things on the burner.
