Volunteer for an adventure in the Rocky Mountains
Description
I own and operate a Mountain Resort in the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains. We provide our guests with cozy rustic cabin accommodations and wilderness adventures that they will remember forever. We also accommodate groups for Weddings, Family reunions, tourists, youth groups and much more.
Some of our adventures include: Mountain biking, trail rides, archery, guided hiking, guided fly fishing day trips, camping and guided boat fishing packages, and Ghost hunting.
In and around our grounds is home to some of the most breath taking scenery and wildlife you could ever find. We even have a herd of Wild Horses that live on our mountain.
Our passion is to provide all our guests with an adventure to remember.

The work is not in just one area but a variety of jobs from indoor to out in the wilderness.
The following are some of the things that our volunteers will do:
Cutting fire wood. ( we have a gas wood splitter )
Keeping the grounds clean.
Maintenance of buildings and fences.
Planting flowers and watering.
New building projects.
lawn maintenance ( cutting lawn and weedeating)
Clearing trails ( keeping our horse riding trails free of fallen trees )
Cooking and cleaning ( cookhouse, cabins and saloon )
working with guests
Helping where needed with hiking and trail riding groups
Assisiting with Ghost Hunting groups
Assisting with kids groups
Each group we have is different. There can be many other things we are required to do. All our work is done with the attitude " safety first". It is only done right if it is done safe. We take great care to ensure the safety of guests, staff, volunteers, and our property.
We enjoy our work and try to have as much fun as possible. After the work is finished it is always nice to sit on the deck of the saloon with a cold drink or a coffee and watch the wildlife walk through camp.

Rustic cabins. The staff and volunteers accommodations are seperate from the guest area. The cookhouse is always open to staff and volunteers. We even have a staff fire pit to relax around in the evenings. Showers and internet access will be made available.

I spent a month in the summer of 2011 with Will and the gang at this place, and there's no doubt that it was one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone's so nice and you'll be made to feel like family; Will and John are hilarious, so definitely bring your sense of humour!
