Bonjour! We are Dalila (French), Pete (English), Emilie our 2 year old daughter and Bart, our ginger cat. Our place is an old château set in the mountains of the Ariege Pyrénées, at 500m. We have spent the last 2 years renovating the interior and we're now focusing on the garden, with a vegetable patch, composting, water butts, a woodshed and solar panels. We'd like your help to continue the work in the grounds, and looking for enthusiastic people who are hard working and enjoy the outdoors! *** Sorry we have no availabilities until Spring 2011. *** Our main projets are: - renovate a bathroom (plastering, painting) - rebuild a stone wall - build a terrasse - chainsaw, cut and split wood for heating - expand our veg patch - weed and tidy the grounds A hand with the daily washing up and cleaning would also be appreciated! We can accomodate 2 people in the chateau in newly decorated double bedrooms, each with their own toilet and wash room. We have broadband/wireless internet and a laptop at your disposal. We also provide 2 mountain bikes to get around. We offer full board in exchange for 25h help per week: typically 5h/day for 5 days and 2 days off.Area: Oamaru

We are a family in Belize nestled in the foothills of Mountain Pine Ridge and on the outskirts of an “Old World” Mennonite community. The most common word we hear to describe the place is “Paradise”. There are plenty of creek-side hammocks, a small book exchange, excellent bird watching and scenic botanical gardens. If you are seeking some adventure we offerguided and unguided jungle hikes, night hikes as well as trips to remote swimming holes, waterfalls, Maya ruins, horseback riding, river canoeing and cave exploring. Come see why theLonely Planet Guidebook said, “The sort of place you visit for a day and stay fora week."
