We are a french family of four, with 2 kids (7 1/2 and 3 years old). We have worked abroad (Africa, Central America, Pakistan) for years, and after few years in Paris, we decided to settle down in Costa de la Luz (Cadiz province, Andalucia), wich is a perfect place to raise children (and for adults too!). We know the area since 20 years now, and have lived here full time for 9 years. We live in a beautiful and preserved environement, in a old hacienda, in a natural park of pine trees.
He runs an hotel/bar/restaurant (with partners) and I am naturopath/nutritionist (give consultations, write recipe books ...). Our children are healthy, easy going on and bilingual (french/spanish). They love receiving friends and visitors.
It is a great place for great walks in the park, we are 5 km from unspoilt beach, you can also enjoy many activities (horseriding, surf, bycicling ...). We can drop you at the bus station when you want to visit more of Andalucia on your day off. And when we drive out (everyday to school and more), we drop you so you can visit easily the nice little town around (Barbate, Vejer ...).

What we need is basically a help in taking care of the children (when we both work), and help in house for daily and usual tasks ; helping for cooking, laundry, cleaning ... And of give hand where needed, be part of the family, helping for common duties. Or other skills you may have in extra, that could be welcome, like web design, music teaching, translation ...
The schedule depend on the days, sometimes for the morning, sometimes for the afternoon.
As your mother language is English , we would like you give lessons to our kids. And it is a great opportunity for us too to practice and improve...
An extra competence would be you to play and teach piano !

French Spanish English

You will sleep in the hacienda (Large Spanish house) where we live, in one nice room next to our apartment (the former chapel, no bathroom, but very good bed). We share the meals. I love cooking, a lots of vegetables, natural food, nice fishes of the zone, everything home made (no doubt from my job). On your break, you can have wonderful walk just around the house, or go to the beach (5 km), visits the andalucians white villages .. and much more we will enjoy telling you.
