Where to start? So many different things going on here, something for most people (see below).......
I live in beautiful Normandy (town of Gacé) with my daughter Jasmine who is 10. We both speak English and French.
I have a busy schedule and need help with different aspects of life!!! I am looking for "helpers" who are willing to fit in with day to day "family life" as well as helping out.
1 - I work from home and from an office helping English people with settling into France, so I need some help at home while I work. This is mainly cleaning, cooking, tidying and babysitting. I have also just bought my house so have some "renovation" projects on going at the moment.
2- My mum lives in the street next to ours. She runs a dog grooming salon. The work here is mainly indoor jobs (sorting, cleaning etc).
Your help will depend on what you enjoy (and are good at) but also our plans and of course the weather.
I am looking for volunteers to help for a 4 week minimum stay through the summer but will consider shorter stays when appropriate.
I ask for 25h / week + help at mealtimes.
In return for your help, we supply accommodation, all your food, language help and various tours of the area.

Hébergement
The accommodation is at my house or at my mum's.
We are in town but still quite rural with lots of beautiful walks and cycle tracks on the doorstep.
We can lend you bikes if you wish as the local area is perfect for cycling.
We will take you out with us when possible and if you need a lift to the bus station no problem. We supply all your basic food. We are all Vegetarians / vegans so all the meals provided will be veggie. I have lots of cookbooks I can lend you if you need ideas!

Tanith's stay was (too) short but sweet. She is a vibrant bubbly girl and really fun to be around. She is easy going, active and got on really well with Jasmine. I only stayed in Gacé for a week, but it was a really cool time... There were two other workawayers and we had a lot of laughs! Leah and Anji were very organized about everything, which was helpful. Bobby and Madi experienced Normandy in the rain but never complained about being wet or cold, they worked outside weeding and hedge clipping, wood stacking and moss scraping in all weathers. Thank you for keeping me company, Bobby's film choices and Madi's broccoli soup.

Jack is fantastic. Hard worker, helpful and polite and a genuinely nice guy. He is eager to taste / try / learn new things and even sampled the local smelly Livarot cheese!!!!

Staying with leah, nico and jasmine was a fantastic workaway experience.I enjoyed working on the house with nico and even got to stay there for a while on my own. I had the opportunity to see some of the local sites, including the buddhist temple! As hosts they were both very interesting and lovely people to stay with.
