At the moment we have a space from February 27. We live about 30 minutes north of Toowoomba, two hours west of Brisbane on 80 acres. It's a new place and there is lots of work to do, so we just need help in the house to free us up to get out and do the landscaping, fencing etc (which you can help us with if you prefer to be outdoors). Mum works and is also doing a PhD and Dad is away with work most of the time, so it's hard getting through the list of things we want to do! We have some horses, although we only have one that can be ridden at the moment, so our Workawayer will be able to ride sometimes if they are experienced at riding (some competition experience is what we would be looking for in jumping, dressage, western or reining). If you are hoping to ride, you must be a competent rider with fairly recent riding experience as you will have to ride by yourself most of the time. Having siad all that, it is perfectly fine if you have no horse experience at all :-)) A driver's licence and safe and competent driving skills are absolutely necessary as we are way out of town. We have access to beautiful riding and bushwalking country as our house is surrounded by bush with lots of wild animals and birds. At the moment we have a space from February 27. Much of the work we will give you will be house or garden related while I work or study and then on weekends we will tackle bigger jobs or take horses to competitions. There is plenty of time to go bushwalking with the dogs or ride and explore the area.

My husband & I have 3 adult children no longer living at home. We have hosted exchange students for the last 5 years and currently have a boy from Japan. We have a house by the beach and 30 acres of land further up the coast going inland. This piece of land needs weed control and some fencing. It is our lifestyle block and we run some sheep and cattle on it. Our son & his fiance are getting married in March on this land and we could do with a hand to tidy it up.There is a lovely little batch on the land which has no electricity but a wood stove. It also has a flush toilet, shower with hot water, sleeping and cooking facilities. We stay there from time to time but it can be difficult to reach when it has been raining. We live in a an old 4bedroom villa which we are still renovating. My husband buys possum fur but is also a builder/handyman. I am a nurse working at the local health centre. I do shift work and sometimes work night duty which means I sleep in the daytime. The internet can be accessed by wireless broadband. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs live outside but the cats like to snuggle up with the humans. We are non smokers and would only want non smokers please.

We live on 5 acres in the heart of the Yarra Valley tourist region, 1 hour from melbourne city. We have a beautiful home with a large flower, native and vegitable patch. Animals are a large part of our home, dogs, cats, horse and chickens. We are a very welcoming family who love meeting people from all over the world.

We are a young friendly couple who have travelled overseas and know the value of staying with locals and learning the interesting ways of life. There is much to see and do in our part of QLD with beautiful wildlife & vast countryside.

My name is Maxine , a proud co-owner of the mansion of my grandma. The mansion works as a Bed&Breakfast, its located in a small city called San Carlos, in the province of Mendoza, in the middle of the wine area, and The mountains of LOS ANDES. We have got here a family business, the Hotel has 12 rooms, its an old monastery of XVII; We also have got a zoo, with local animals. 110 Horses, and 66 dogs; We take care of all the street dogs of almost this whole city, Giving them shelter and food, and some love. This is really a beautiful place, because we also have got a local croissanterie, where everything is made by hand, and with love. We would love to receive volunteers from all over the world, in change for accomodation in our 4 stars hotel, and the necessary things to help us with our business, and have an extraordinary time at this fairytale hotel. We've got an international family, so we speak almost every language!
