The Park of Study and Reflection is located in the High Fläming Nature Park, an hour's drive southwest of Berlin, in the small idyllic village of Schlamau. Here one encounters a vast forest and meadows, inviting for a nature hike. The Schlamau Park of Study and Reflection is one of 30 such parks that exist in all over the world. They are a place for lingering and meeting, and radiate a new spirituality that rejects all forms of violence and discrimination, appealing to the sacred dimension of the human spirit, seeking to discover freedom and meaning. www.parkschlamau.org We are 30 friends from different countries, who bought this piece of land and this farmhouse. We are financing it from our own pockets and with the help of our friends. There is no any institution, organisation or company sponsoring us. The transformation into a real Park of Study and Reflection goes step by step and all the work we do ourselves is voluntary work. Nobody lives there permanently and the project does not include agriculture or animal husbandry

Area: Languedoc Roussillon

Denis and I moved to the south of France from Scotland in July last yearare are loving the life out here. We are very easy going, enjoying the fabulous weather, surrounded by vineyards and friendly people. What more could you ask for? We live in a small but lively village, plenty going on here and in the villages round about. Narbonne and Carcassonne are easily reachable. We are getting the house ready to run as a bed and breakfast next year and need some help to get it even more fabulous than it is at the moment. We have done most of the easy work now and are only looking for skilled joiners, tilers, plumbers etc. Many thanks to those who helped us last year.

We are renovating a farm in southern Burgundy – the Charollaise, to create an activity center for meeting and sharing the arts and music. I am a musician (guitarist) and am interested in photography as well as many different art forms. We love meeting new people and sharing in the true spirit of friendship and family. Nous rénovons une ferme Charollaise en Bourgogne sud en vue d’en faire un centre de rencontre et de partage dans les domaines artistiques et musical.
