Work

We are VERY much in Phase one of the project and are trying to organise our place to be a 'blank canvas' so that the ideas and designs can really start to take shape...I tell you this as I dont want you to have this image in your heads of little lambs frollicking in green paddocks under the apple trees...hehehehe.. The place is a building site, full of piles of building materials and piles of scrap ready to be burnt when the fire ban is lifted.....
We would very much like you to be a part of the birth of our project so that you can honestly say that "I was there right at the beginning"

THIS MONTHS PROJECTS:
*Vegetable Garden for volunteer's kitchen.
*Bathroom & Kitchen addition to volunteer's accommodation.
*Building 'cob oven' in garden.
*Gardens & Planting.
* Building walls from available resources eg rocks.
Also landscaping the grounds and also of course working with the animals that no one can resist. We are not slave drivers and being from England myself, believe me we wont be working outside in the heat of the day :)

Accommodation

The accommodation consists of a 6 metre x 6 metre lined cabin that houses a pool table, Wii, X-box and play station etc. Off of this is a 6 m x 3 m dormatory style bedroom and besides this is a 6m x 3 m covered verandah with a bbq. We are in the process of building onto this cabin a bathroom and kitchen . You can also use the spa and the pool too!.. There is NO ensuite bathroom (you have to share with the family at the house) Although you would have to share with total strangers at a caravan park.....and yes we live in the bush so there are lots of cobwebs and dust or mud! It is not 'The Ritz' and it is quite rustic but thats how we like it. So if you are pedantic about cleanliness or are a 'neat freak' probably better off that you dont visit because right now we are way too busy to be bothered with doing housework every day!!!!! :) Sorry just had to make it perfectly clear....hehehehe..Honestly I dont know what some people expect!! Breakfast, lunch and a home cooked meal at night will be supplied in addition to snacks in the fridge to help yourself to through the day.
