I have my own bungalows on a small organic farm in rural Chiang Mai and am happy to share the experience of organic farming and sustainable living with anybody who is interested in volunteering to help! I'm still new to organic farming and would appreciate any help and experience that people can provide. Volunteers with experience in organic farming are preferred as then we can share our knowledge and learn together! I also assign a volunteers to help local people's farms follow the seasons. I also run a non-profit volunteer working programme providing opportunities for teaching English in local hill tribes schools and offering medical help to ethnic minority villagers. I was born in Mae Jeam district and spent almost eight years in the temple as a novice monk before going on to study for a BA in Tourism Industry Management. Hi My name is Manjil. I am the principal of a school in rural Nepal. The School is the only free private educational institution in the country. This is its first year. Without Volunteers, the project will not be able to run in the upcoming years. That would be terrible because a lot of children would be very sad :( There are many things you could do here. You could help teach or be involved in other ideas. Me and my friends here are constantly trying to come up with new ideas to help support this free school. We have agricultural land, art projects and construction ideas too. The families of the students support the school with vegetables and fruits and are always ready to help out in order to keep sustaining this free school.

We are 2 adults plus a beautiful Hungarian Puli dog who are easy going fun loving but hard working. Paul is 50 and an artist, writer, IT consultant and loves working with wood. I am 44 year old psychologist. After hectic life in London we moved to Slovenia in hope to live a better life and time to enjoy what we are doing. We bought an old house 3 years ago here in Slovenia and have worked very hard bringing it back to life. We are building a reservoir for collection of rain water and many more wonderful things around the house. The house and grounds will be used for art workshops as well as events and seminars. Help is needed with gardening, maintaining the newly planted orchard as well as the old trees, taking care of the forest, building the wall and reservoir and similar stuff. In return we offer meals, clothes washing facilities, a very comfortable double bed and bathroom but if you’d prefer to stay outdoors in own tent there is also plenty of space available in our 2.5 hectares of land. There are plenty of historic sites and places of outstanding natural beauty in the area including wonderful lakes, rivers and waterfalls. We are happy to receive help from couples or singles, smokers or non-smokers and although we are not vegetarians ourselves we are happy to prepare you vegetarian meals if required.

We are a young friendly couple who have travelled overseas and know the value of staying with locals and learning the interesting ways of life. There is much to see and do in our part of QLD with beautiful wildlife & vast countryside.

We have three young children and both my husband and I work outside the family home. I am an Osteopath and my husband is a vet. We live on 5 acres in the heart of the Yarra Valley tourist region, 1 hour from melbourne city. We have a beautiful home with a large flower, native and vegitable patch. Animals are a large part of our home, dogs, cats, horse and chickens. We are a very welcoming family who love meeting people from all over the world.
