Description

We live 4km away from the center of Uzes.
I'm a carpenter's wife who likes gardening
We live in a little paradise and I'm looking for help to do it better again.
We have having been living there for nearly 30 years and it's like 3 houses there now.
We rent a gite's in summer (so all must be clean and without dust and spiders in june)
I ask to helpers ( 2 or 3 personns can live together in the middle part)
to take the common kitchen, cleaning something completly each day(a fridge for example), the bath room too

I like to gardening a lot and we have strawberries, rasperries, asparagus...
somebody must climb on a stepladder to cut all the wisteria going under the blows of the roof and attach maitresses branches in the tonnell ......

I hope you'll not consider that coming with me to the market on wednesday or friday morning to buy organic food for everybody is work

I'll try to help you as much I can

We are quite active in AEM (amis des enfants du monde) so charity work could be asked too.

Mark's a very hardworking person with a lot of skills
he helped me a lot whether it is to paint door frames, chop wood for the chimney, he cleaned the clippers and repaired some electricity
I recommended him

I really enjoyed my time in the Guarch household. It's a fun, lively place and there's always something going on! I got to do some interesting work, eat lots of delicious French food, and meet many entertaining characters. Sylvie is a lovely host, generous and kind, I recommend to anyone to go stay there :)

I found Sylvie a kind, hospitable, and generous host. I had a very nice bedroom to stay in, and ate lots of wonderful cooking!
The work is very reasonable and usually quite enjoyable if you are working with the other workers and/or Sylvie, as it is a busy but easy-going household.
Uzes is a beautiful little town, and Chez Guarch is a lovely more

Sylvie lives just outside the beautiful village of Uzes, only a 5 minute bike ride away from her property.[ a quick trip for the morning pastry!]
Sylvie was very relaxed about the work expectations she had for us & so we used our initiative a lot to make some good progress on her large property.
Her garden was a hidden treasure!

too short for me but travel was calling him......
he's very calm, cleaver and helpfull
he has very open mind

Iola and Robin spend 2 months at home and I enjoyed their stay
they did a great job with our dog Zoe who needed education

Sylvie was a great host; she made us feel part of her family and took us to meet her friends too ( which were all very kind and friendly ). All her pets are very lovable... specially Zoe, and for sure will make you laugh more than once....
The area is very nice, and there are many sights to visit close by.

Had an amazing time staying and volunteering at Sylvies house for about two weeks.. she is a great host.. very funny, energetic, charismatic.. always makes sure youre happy and have everything you need.. awesome cook.. and an amazing character! I was made to feel at home and would recommend meeting her and staying here to anyone!!!

Sylvie is a great host and the place is very beautiful!
Unfortunately I had injured myself and wasn't able to contribute as much as I would have liked to. Sylvie was very understanding and still allowed me to stay and do what I could which I really appreciated.
The work tasks are very enjoyable and quite simple from weeding to feeding a few more

Sylvie is one of the most generous and welcoming people I've met. I had a really great time at Sylvie's home and would definitely recommend a stay here!
I stayed for just over two weeks and could have stayed longer.

she made a good team with David, a german guy 20 years old
they worked hard in the garden, picking green beans a, cleaning them and freeze them
we cooked some too and it was really good
I enjoy her stay and she's welcome another time

We spent two weeks with Sylvie's family. I hope those times remains memorable about the hungarian gulasch. We ate very very good meals , cooked together. After a little work in the garden (making little fences,weeding,harvesting,seeding) we could swim in the pool or went to Mt. Ventoux, Avignon, Uzés, Pont du Gard...The region is beautiful. We more

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Sylvie and her family. She's very welcoming and easy-going person and makes sure that you meet a lot of local people during your stay(well, at least I did..:). Never had I a dull moment since there was always something happening at her home. This was my first workaway-experience and it couldn't have been better more

Jenni has excellent English skills and managed very well also in French. She was extremely reliable as well as flexible and willing to work on any tasks assigned to her with the greatest carefulness and skillfulness.
I would happily enroll Jenni again and can recommend her for any other workaway-position
