We are a French Australian family living in the mountains, we have two boys, 3 and 6, and I need some help with them and the house while my husband fixes an old house.
We hardly ever eat meat but really enjoy eating well and cooking.
We are language teachers, English and French.
I am a retired psychotherapist and currently look after all the animals on our farm: sheep, chickens, donkeys, ducks, pig, pony and crazy goat (who may be returned to her herd very shortly!).
We are also a registered cheese museum, and although no longer have a large herd of sheep or make cheese commercially, we have cheese workshops and tastings, where people can come and learn how our famous cheese used to be made and have a hands-on experience.
I have three children, 7 grandchildren - currently my daughter runs the events and cheese museum, and I do the workshops when in English.

We invite Volunteers into our Family Run Hostel where we treat them as members of our family, where they can relax and soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy the different cultures and nationalities of our guests.
I am a certified Equine Therapist providing chiropractic and massage therapy services. My husband Patrick and I have a young daughter and live on a 1/4 section near Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. We have a menagerie of animals which includes 12 horses of our own. Our horses range in age and breed (most are heavy crosses). Most are used for pleasure riding and we have a very natural philosophy when it comes to our horses, we do ride bitless and I am a large supporter of treeless saddles. Our horses are also "barefoot trimmed" (which is trimming to support the natural function of the hoof) by myself and my friend/colleague. We do have a few boarded horses that are here for retirement and occasionally we will take on rehabilitation/therapy horses as well. I also teach clinics here at home on owner education topics (saddle fitting/anatomy, etc) and equine first aid.
I have a friend that operates a Gypsy/Drum horse farm that also has a host add, she lives 8 miles away from us. This situation would provide opportunity for traveling between friends.
