    Description

We are a community-run school providing secondary education and vocational skills training to orphans and other children from disadvantaged backgrounds, with an outreach program in the communinites. We.We have over 400 students, both girls and boys, aged between 14 and 20.

We are located in a village, Mukungwe sub county in Masaka District, 85 miles (135 km) south west of the Ugandan capital Kampala.

The school is run on Christian principles, and accepts children regardless of their religion, tribe, ethnicity or political background. Some students come from the nearby slums, while others come from the rural areas, with a few from as far away as Tanzania and Rwanda. There is a mixture of day and boarding students due to the long distance that some have to travel to reach the school.

We are near Lake Nabugabo and Lake Victoria, where you can watch the wildlife or go to the beach. You can also visit the Catholic cathedral and burial place of Fr Ngobya who was said to have miraculous powers.
