Take part in an Organic smallholding near Istanbul
Description
We are a British couple living at the edge of a forest village in the mountains, 12 km South of Yalova, which is reached by boat from Istanbul. We have started an Organic smallholding, and aim to create a sustainable way of living. You are welcome to take part in our work, to experience living in a small village and to join in with what's going on at the time.. It's a beautifully quiet rural area, and yet remarkably accessible from the city. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats and chickens; we're a no-smoking household.

Callum and Cath are a lovely young couple who are capable, hard working and cheerful - a pleasure to have stay with us.
Chevrel and Alan are great and we really enjoyed our (unfortunately) short time with them. It was great to work with them in the polytunnels and to help prepare beds. We had great conversation over great dinners and would like nothing more than to have another fantastic experience with them.
Allen and John - you would be welcome to join us again - anytime! we enjoyed your company and appreciated all your hard work.
We also had a great time with Alan & Chevrel on a stay of 2 weeks. A wealth of knowledge in all things green which we were happy to absorb. Working in a variety of jobs from fixing up and oiling outdoor furniture to dismantling and planting polytunnels. Great company and great expeditions with the dogs. We really found it a very positive more
Aishling & Joan are good company, easy guests, and thoughtful caring people. We too, learned from them, and enjoyed their stay with us. Their legacy lives on in the bread starter! We wish them well with their own plans to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
Nina was a delight to have stay. She's cheerful, hardworking and a thoughtful guest. We wish her well, and would welcome her back anytime.
Chevrel, Alan, their 2 cats, and 3 dogs [which are more like bears] are really fantastic. :) There's lots of different things to get done [and they let you pick!] so you'll never be uninspired. The village is a dream, the home cozy, and her cooking the best part. I had a great time, you should try to...thanks for everything guys!
We had a great tıme stayıng with Alan and Chevrel. They are both wonderful and interesting people and taught us so much. They have a great farm, and a home that is really welcoming. We had a great experience learning about cookıng, planting, picking, and seeding as well as playing with their three delightful dogs. We wish we could have stayed more
