Área: North LondonApril 14: We are a female couple in our 40's who both work full time for the NHS (UK National Health Service) and bought an old Victorian property. It is an amazing house (and we love it) with tons of original period features that are being brought back to life through very careful restoration. We desperately need a woman to help with cleaning and organizing, and a bit of gardening and a bit of DIY. WE HAVE started a vegetable garden, herb garden and planting bulbs too! We can offer a great cultural experience and we are both good cooks, so you can look forward to lovely Indian food and great English food too, and we are a vegetarian household. We love helping people with advice and guidance on how to get around the best London tourist sites on a budget, and We want to learn about your culture too, as we are very well travelled ourselves! We only accept workawayers over 24 years old, and can not reply if you are younger, as we can't accept anyone younger unfortunately. Ideally we would like someone who has experience of construction work and particularly old properties, and has a good command of English, reliable and hardworking. We would all share the cooking and washing up of meals, and household duties, and we enjoy meals with our workawayers a few nights a week, but also need time to unwind after work, so the ideal workawayer would be happy to do both! We have accommodation in Zone 3 in London and buses going straight into the centre of London so the transport into Central London is relatively cheap (London transport is not cheap). We do Skype meetings and ask for references before proceeding. We would love to have you, but please confirm that you are definitely available to make the Workaway commitment with us. Do let us know what your skills are and what you would like to gain too.

Área: MarcheHello, We are Francesco and Robert, a gay couple living in a rural part of central Italy willing to have volunteers helping with various outside duties. We live in a semi restored farmhouse about 5 km from the historic town of Tolentino between the mountains and the Adriatic coast line. The many footpaths leading through woods, fields and rivers covering the mountains makes it a pleasure to explore the environment. Being so submersed in wilderness away from civilization, it very much creates a feeling of retreat or escape from day to day ´normal´ life. We like living in the countryside and share our way of life with others. The restored part of the farmhouse has all the comforts of a modern place yet set in beautiful rolling hills landscape. We enjoy cooking, outdoors sports and socializing with friends. we have two cats and a lovely dog. I enjoy cooking and try different recipes every time !! We invite you to come and stay with us between these dates... from end of March to mid July The work that we will be doing together may consist of the following.... Olive pruning, gardening, landscaping, manual labour, house renovation, clearing brambles, chopping / cutting firewood, ground clearance and site preparation. Working with us is very relaxed and informal. Plenty of good genuine Italian food on offer !
