    Description

A 13th century former monastery and is now both a centre for art and ceramics and in the summer is let out as a holiday lettings.

We are friendly, outgoing and accommodating. Love entertaining and cooking and there is always something going on.

This is a large property on hectare of land on the edge of a village near Riberac in the Dordogne with above ground pool.

We have dogs, a cat, two goats and a sheep.

My activities run from March to October and involve many aspects depending on season and priorities.

    Help

There is always gardening, domestic, maintenance work and building type projects for which extra hands are always a bonus to get things moving a bit faster.

I am doing renovation works all the time; during March, April and May I'd be renovating the attic, building some extra shower rooms and laying the ground work for new work shops. So help with cementing, plasterboarding, plumbing and painting would be great.

Also during the spring we would like to put more energy into outdoorprojects.
Setting up a irrigation scheme via pumping water from the well.
Gardening; setting up a poly tunnel, preparing seed beds for vegetables, starting a herb garden and clearing parts of the garden and meadow for flowers. for which it would be great to get some help mainly during spring time.

We are foodies and like cooking interesting meals. We are recent pescatarian/vegatarians but happy to cook meat for workaways.
There is an above ground pool when the weather is warmer and we have a ceramics/arts studio.
Also the are bikes for cycling.
The Drone river is nearby which is good for swimming and canoeing.
Riberac is a market town and has a great Friday morning market.
