Description
Hidden away in the forested foothills of the Andes, this is a stunningly beautiful property with a stream running through it, native woodlands, vineyards and an abundance of trails, flora and fauna.
Tumuñan lodge and vineyard was established in 2006. It's a family run project and care for the environment is taken very seriously.
Currently the owner is looking for help in the garden and vineyard. Experience in landscaping and plant care would be great. The vineyard is 3 acres and requires quite a bit of work too!
We need help in social media and marketing as well.
Applicants should be comfortable with solitude and living independently.

Living in the Chilean Andes with contact to local herdsman and wine related professionals too. You will get a chance to learn Spanish by speaking with us and other employees.

We are looking for dynamic people between the age of 25 and 35. We need help in the area of social media and marketing as well as gardening and help in the vineyard. There are self catering cabins that need to be cleaned and prepared for guests.
Website help and design, social media, promotions and marketing skills would be great.
We are looking for people who can spend at least 3 weeks here, maybe even a whole season if you like it!
There is a bus service that gets you to the cabin and from San Fernando (nearest city, 33km away, 80,000 people)
If you looking for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, this might be the place for you.

A cabin designated for volunteers and helpers. It has a living area, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and shared bathroom. Extensive garden, barbecue and right next to the stream.

The outdoor work such as digging ditches, building fences, cutting brush and weeds can be physically demanding.
Indoor help is also needed, with website design, promotional offers as well as cleaning and laundry help.
Please remember that we are in a remote rural setting and you should be comfortable enjoying past times such as hiking and reading
We are looking for helpers over the age of 23. Experience using a chainsaw and weed whacker would be bonus.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the lodge and on the vineyard. I was very well looked after in exchange for my work. If there was more availability I would have definitely stayed on. Hoping to come back for winter next year I enjoyed my time that much! Will was a great host and made it very clear on my roles alllowing me to work autonomously.

Stefan and Laetitia were amazing in all areas. Speaking several languages and having experience in hospitality and horses, they were able to assist in all areas of lodge management.
But also they did some excellent work around the property. Stefan is a very skilled handyman.

Sorry for the long delay! I volunteered here for three weeks in March and had a great time. The area is beautiful and Will and Carolina were fantastic hosts. I spent some time working in the vineyard as well as in the kitchen and around the lodge. My time here was very relaxing and a much needed break from travel.

I stayed 2.5 weeks in the Lodge, it was definitely a good experience. Even if it was winter the jobs were diversified (work in the vineyard, with the lodge and its websites, and also in the garden).
