Description

This is a small 6-bedroom hotel in a tiny traditional Andalucian village deep in the mountains near Ronda. We cater to a discerning clientele who come for walking, naturewatching, relaxing.
We need help, single person or a couple, for the month of April. If you would like a short sojourn in a beautiful valley with great walking at this perfect time of year, please read on!
You would enjoy being in a small traditional Andalucian village setting with friendly people, some youngsters, but few foreigners so a good opportunity to improve your Spanish! You will have lots of free time, food and a small single hotel room with its own bathroom.

Work

The work is general stuff such as helping or even taking on the responsibility of breakfast, cleaning rooms, helping prep and serve dinner, serving drinks, washing dishes, and watering plants. Nothing strenuous. We would like somebody who is flexible and willing to help when required. In the hotel business one does not know when help will be needed and things can change from one minute to the next. Estimated time on average of about four to five hours per day - some days more, others less.

We have a permanent employee who works three hours every morning mostly to do the cleaning and rooms but she has Saturdays and Sundays off so you would be needed both mornings and evenings on those days. If you could be flexible about days off, we could arrange free time at short notice when we see that the work load is light.

The ideal person would be a self starter, well presented, friendly and confident, interested in people, responsible and able to work without supervision after the initial training period. Ideally you would be prepared to stay for two weeks.

Some Spanish would make your life more enjoyable as nobody speaks English in the village but most of my guests are English speaking.
