Area: Midi Pyrenees

We are a couple who live and work in the hills between Toulouse and the Pyrenees, in the south of France. Gaia is Italian, I'm British, we are expecting our first child and we have a dog and a cat. We work in the creative arts, I am a one-man-band in the traditional, drum kit on the back and playing multiple instruments together, sense. We are trying to develop our lives as independently as possible. We run a small record label from here, an association for the diffusion of cultural and artistic activities, and we have musical activities developing all the time.

Area: Spanish Pyrenees National Park of Aiguestortes

Hello, Come and join us up high in the Spanish Pyrenees next to the largest national park in Cataluyna. We are located in a very small village called Taull, it is a tourist destination with a ski resort only 6km away and the national park of Aiguestortes just behind us. We have a hostel and two restaurants.

Registered UK charity and French association. providing care for ponies, donkeys and horses that have been mistreated or abandoned. we also provide a safe house for equines when the owners can no longer care for them. The refuge cares for 80 ponies and horses with around 30 in residence at any time.

Greetings from our organic farming community, located forty five minutes north of Albany in the fertile Battenkill Valley. Our family warmly invites you to experience our unique life of friends and togetherness. We are situated on over one hundred acres of gently rolling hills and lush river bottom land. Growing a wide assortment of vegetables and herbs for a CSA and our own community use, heritage breed chickens, milking a small herd of dairy goats, raising sheep, maintaining the beautiful grounds of the estate, operating a cottage industry, and running a small deli in town keep us busy and open for new friends year round. In addition to the normal farm crew and volunteers, we also have a great time doing the "community night" in the field, with everyone coming out for one evening a week to join in the work and reward of getting our hands in the soil. Guests are frequent all year round and we would love to have you join us. Whether you come for a day or come to stay, our hearts and our farm will always have room for more. Update: Spring 2013 The ground is warming up, the seeds are being planted, the animals are birthing!-the pace is quickening for the season! Many volunteers have already made their plans-come be a part of the team!

Carol Samuel an me Berty we live in our cottage located in the Bavarian forest near to the national park Bayerischer Wald. The house is situated between 30000 square meter garden, forest, lake. One of our many hobbies is astronomy (the observatory on the roof of the house) One dog, some chicken, trout in the lake, small beekeeping, We operate an advertising agency with a small printing office. For people who like it warm the best time is to stay here from April to September. Who like snow we have snow from December till March for sure.
