Our Artfarm is a art dream in progress. It is hoped that in the future it will be a centre for art/film/music/workshops/classes and residencies for anybody with a dream of using their creativity in some way. Some day classes have already been run here including woodcarving and mosaic classes which were a great success. The dream is a work in progress with the ongoing restoration of house, outhouses and haybarn as studio space and organic veg plot slowly expanding. This creative space is in a rural setting in east Galway, 35 miles from Galway city, 15 miles from Roscommon town. It has a minimal footprint ethos with a great respect and love for the space and all its ecosystem. It is hoped that this centre can be a place where the local community both young and old are made welcome and where visiting workshop participants and artists can feel at home. It is hoped this place can be eco rather than ego driven. Anyone with an interest in art and environment is welcome here.

Hi, I'm looking for a few hours a day helps Home Care, in conjunction with the practice of foreign languages ​​for my 15 years old daughter .. The long stay preferred. Our house is located in Heraklion, Crete, 5 minutes from beach.Weekends usually travel to beaches, there will be some work on the house, because everyone involved with the daily house cleaning and food preparation. I went to study to Switzerland when 15. When finished my studies moved to Spain. For years lived among Spain, Andorra and Chile, Argentine working at the begining as ski instructor and then working as ski mag journalist. Moved here to Valle de Aran, 6 years ago. The hotel is its 4th year. It is a 14 room hotel in the old quater at Vielha, capital of this Valley. Since the begining we offered Japanese food at the hotel. But now I am changing the direction of the hotel to ecological way (from what I can..) and will hopefully incorporate macrobiotic, yoga in the hotel. The hotel is located 15km from Baqueira Beret ski resort. All my family live in Japan.

We are 2 adults plus a beautiful Hungarian Puli dog who are easy going fun loving but hard working. Paul is 50 and an artist, writer, IT consultant and loves working with wood. I am 44 year old psychologist. After hectic life in London we moved to Slovenia in hope to live a better life and time to enjoy what we are doing. We bought an old house 3 years ago here in Slovenia and have worked very hard bringing it back to life. We are building a reservoir for collection of rain water and many more wonderful things around the house. The house and grounds will be used for art workshops as well as events and seminars. Help is needed with gardening, maintaining the newly planted orchard as well as the old trees, taking care of the forest, building the wall and reservoir and similar stuff. In return we offer meals, clothes washing facilities, a very comfortable double bed and bathroom but if you’d prefer to stay outdoors in own tent there is also plenty of space available in our 2.5 hectares of land. There are plenty of historic sites and places of outstanding natural beauty in the area including wonderful lakes, rivers and waterfalls. We are happy to receive help from couples or singles, smokers or non-smokers and although we are not vegetarians ourselves we are happy to prepare you vegetarian meals if required.
