Description
We are a couple plus growing baby Samuel living in a quiet country area of the Sierra de Grazalema, Andalucia. We run the official tourist information centre in Grazalema, a new project taking up a lot of our time... Do you know how to create graphs and charts from excell databases? If so we need you....
We run various website projects devoted to the promotion and protection of Iberian Wildlife which includes a listing website for activity and wildlife holiday companies and also a very active forum that covers the nature of Iberia.
We are also in the process of re building the organic vegetable garden and olive orchard With a view to creating a wildlife habitat along the way. if you have an interest in photography and wildlife then please get in touch.

Travail
Work will mostly revolve around the organic garden care and developement, seed sowing, plant care, watering etc.... We need help around the house as with the new information centre project we are falling behind in keeping up with house keeping...
If you have experience in databases and the production of graphs and charts then we need you...
If you fancy playing with Sam for an hour or two then that would be good as Sue needs to catch up with some writing projects... This only applies if you like gummy kisses and hugs from a 15 month old :)

Logement
We live in a comfortable rural house 7 KM away from the nearest village and 20Km away from the nearest town. Your accomodation comprises of the upstairs of the house which has three bedrooms to choose from and a bathroom/shower/toilet. The downstairs has a large living room and kitchen along with our sleeping quarters. We will not be taking more than two volunteers at a time but it is possible that the upstairs would be shared if to vists coincided (Unless two volunteers apply as friends to visit us that is)
Autres choses...
Whilst we are in a rural area, that doesn't mean we don't get out and about. Right now every day means a trip to Grazalema to be at the information centre and you are welcome to tag along and enjoy the village and surroundings...
We aren't vegetarian but can cater for vegetarians/vegans if neccesary without a problem... In fact when vegetarians visit us we often cut down on our meat consumption as well which is a good thing in itself.
Our place and lifestyle is most suited to walkers, photographers, gardeners and people interested in the natural world.. Age doesn't matter...

Jared's profile here at Workaway pretty much sums him up... Thanks Jared for your great company and your excellent help... It was good to get some of those jobs done that had been waiting a while.... Come back anytime, especially to make some more icecream! The chocolate chip is all gone........

I had the pleasure of staying with Clive, Sue and their baby boy Sam for 3 weeks. I felt as though I was part of the family throughout my stay as they not only invited me for hikes and drives around Grazalema but took me out for lunch numerous times as well.
They also taught me about some of the local wildlife, plant life and why Grazalema is more

I had the great opportunity to stay with Clive and Sue for nearly two months in Grazalema, and it was really great! I couldn't have found a better couple to spend the bulk of my last two months in Europe with, I learned so much and hopefully helped out a bit too! Thanks again!!
CoastalCanadian came to stay with us for a couple of weeks that turned into a couple of months... Easy going, hard working and a great sense of humour.. Ha! you need one wading knee deep in a river throwing rocks to save the garden from the floods... We had plans to do a lot of things but the rain in the first months of 2010 changed all that so I more
Clive, Sue and Sam are truly a happy family and we felt privileged to be a part of it. We felt at home immediately and the work was effortless as we enjoyed every minute of it. We learnt how to set up a vegetable garden and during our fantastic walks through the countryside, we learnt about the area and picked up many tips on photography. We have more
Kayle and Rashika are two very special people indeed... Clive, Sue and Sam miss them lots. Excellent helpers around the house /gardens and the sound of laughter is still echoing from the walls... Any one considering having either Kayle or Rashika help out, just say yes... You won't regret it :) Thanks ladies and love from us all... Hope to see you more
We're going to have to join the queue of people who had a fantastic time with Clive, Sue & Sam. We stayed for a month and enjoyed every minute- they're incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the Sierra de Grazalema area and the work was a lot of fun (hope the database is still working!).
Thanks for letting me play with all the camera more

Madison stayed with us for 2 and a half months during the summer of 2010 and we can easily reccommend her for any future workaway hosts... She is practical, versatile and helped out with our son Samuel as well as gardening work, office work and many other tasks around the place... There probably isn't anything she won't have a go at with great more
I stayed with Clive, Sue, and little Sam during the summer of 2010. I can't say enough good things about these people. They are easy to get along with and have a lovely lifestyle. They live in the most beautiful place in all of the world! They truly appreciate their surroundings and try their best to protect it. Sue is a wonderful mother and knows more
My first workaway and what an experience! I stayed with Sue and Clive and their lovely baby Sam for about 2 weeks (wish i had no commitments and could have stayed more). I really enjoyed translating the Grazalema guide and then doing all the walks through which I have discovered the really beautiful surrounding area. If you love nature and more
