Hello !
We are a family (Father(French), Mother(English), 2 children, (daughter15) and (son 11)who speak both languages but mostly French and it would be great to have a bit of extra English spoken in the home, never enough!) living in a village not far from Toulon, 25kms (halfway between Nice and Marseille), the medieval town of Hyères and the beach are 20kms away. The village is on the edge of the Massif des Maures, 500m and you are in the forest, great for walks and a real spot for mountain bikers.
Our school serves the Gomoa Brofoyedur town in the central region. The closest major town is Ankamu (also known was Apam Junction).
Do you desire to teach english, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), writing and literary programs, etc at a small community in a developing nation? Then board the train and contribute to the educational wealth of a small village.
I'm English and my partner, David, is French. We live on a working dairy farm that has been in his family for 100 years....but cows have taken priority over DIY in the house!! His parents live next door and this is a sleepy village, no bar or local raves here (not that i know of anyway!) We have lived here together for the last year and there is still a huge amount of work to be done in the house and the garden, progress is slow, as I said, the cows come first. There is always someone coming or going. The farm is located in the centre of the village and during the summer there are several local French village fetes/BBq's etc etc. I myself come from a more London background but I now prefer this gentler way of life. I am looking for some one or a couple who can muck in and go with the flow of what ever needs doing around the house and garden. This is an old house that has been neglected and I am on as much of a learning curve as anybody!
We are a family of mostly 4 (sometimes 5), 2 kids at school age. We live in a small farm village some 20 km from Lake Neusiedl in the east of Austria; about 45 km from Vienna with regular railway and bus connections.
The area is soft and characterized by farm land, wine and a milder climate than in the rest of the country.
We are convinced of a more balanced life and thus try to reduce waste, plastics etc. and grow our own vegetables, cook as much biological food as possible and more.
We bought this old farm house with garden some 2 years ago and are still trying to bring it in full shape.
I live on Isla Solarte an Island in Bocas del Toro on the Caribean coast of Panama, just South of Costa Rica. I need help developing my place to help fulfill its potential. Conditions at the moment are basic or I should say rustic, but improving.
