*** Sorry we have no availabilities until Spring 2011. *** We are Dalila (French), Pete (English), Emilie our 2 year old daughter and Bart, our ginger cat. Our place is an old château set in the mountains of the Ariege Pyrénées, at 500m. We have spent the last 2 years renovating the interior and we're now focusing on the garden, with a vegetable patch, composting, water butts, a woodshed and solar panels. We'd like your help to continue the work in the grounds and spring clean the house. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are hard working and enjoy the outdoors! The help we need in spring (April/May 2011) includes: - chainsaw, cut and split wood for heating - expand our vegetable patch - plant out veggies for the summer - weed and tidy the grounds - spring clean the house top to bottom! (windows, chandeliers, mirrors, rooms and bathrooms etc) - build a terrasse A hand with the daily washing up and cleaning would also be appreciated! We can accomodate 2/3 people in the chateau in newly decorated double bedrooms, each with their own toilet and wash room. We have broadband/wireless internet and a laptop at your disposal. We also provide 3 mountain bikes to get around. We offer full board in exchange for 25h help per week: typically 5h/day for 5 days and 2 days off.
