We are a young, retired couple, renovating a house in beautiful Bad Bevensen. Our intention is to create a community living place for people, who want to share their life with like-minded others, support a healthy and environmental friendly life. We work hard to get the basic set up done this summer.Area: Montana
Hi, our names are Andrew and Hilary. We are a young family with two children, our son age 4 and our daughter age 1 and are looking for a fun, easy going, responsible girl to help us care for our children this summer. We live and ranch in Centennial Valley, Montana. We raise all natural grass finished beef cattle, train horses and enjoy the wide open spaces. The ranch encompasses 30,000+ acres of mountainous terrain with a river winding through. We border the Red Rocks National Wildlife Refuge and are only 40 miles from Yellowstone National Park. We are a working ranch focused on holistic resource management. We run close to 2000 cattle and 40 horses. We also have a ranch guest program which allows people from around the country and the world to come visit and participate in ranch activities, learn about range land management, low stress stockmanship, natural horsemanship and wildlife ecology. Our house is very small but cozy but we make up for the space we lack indoors with 30,000 acres to run wild in outdoors. We also have three working dogs, two cats and lots of chickens (and sometimes a new baby calf or two that needs help getting started in life). We would love to share our life and our home and our experience with anyone who is interested in learning more about ranching, wildlife, child care and experiencing a way of life that is closely tied to the land.Area: Languedoc Roussillon
We are a couple. Peter, American 58 and Bhumi, French, 53 who are living on a piece of land near St. Hippolyte du Fort in the Cevenne area of S. France. Peter came here as a workawayer early this year and met Bhumi through mutual friends. Bhumi has been developing her land here as a garden and a workspace for preparation of organic and medicinal plant products for several years. Due to an injury two years ago work stopped and Bhumi moved to town. Now with Peter's help she is back on the land putting things back into shape. We are off the grid, living in a caravan. There are terraces that offer nice private spaces for camping and a second, smaller caravan. The weather is mild and agreeable for being outside most of the day. We will provide two meals a day in exchange for a half day of help with the gardens primarily, but also with other landscaping and maintenance tasks, possibly some building or stonework. We are happy to introduce workawayers to the area which is rich in places to explore and cultural activities. Many places can be reached by bus up in the high Cevenne, Nime, Montpelier, even the beaches. A couple might be best for a week maybe two.Area: Center

I am Judith, married with 4 children ages 21 girl in university, 16 girl in high school/ 13 boy in high school and my last son is 11 yrs in class 6 .I have a graduate degree in Biblical studies and Theology. About the school : Our school education center offers primary school to High School. It is a community-run school providing secondary education, elementary and Primary education to orphans and other children from disadvantaged backgrounds. We have over 150 pupils and students, both girls and boys, aged between 2yrs and 17. We are located in Kitale Municipalities near Kipsongo Slums of Kitale town 2km from the town center. The school is run on Christian principles, and accepts children regardless of their religion, tribe, ethnicity or political background. Some students come from the nearby slums, while others come from the rural areas, with others living at the center Trans Nzoia district is home to thousands of orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children due to high rate of HIV/AIDS prevalence, unending violent tribal clashes, absolute poverty and lack of knowledge about children’s rights. There are many internally displaced and landless families, unaccompanied and neglected children. Solution The children’s home will be a solace to these orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children. The plan is to get abandoned, orphaned and vulnerable children below five years and provide them with shelter, food, education and training until they reach the age of eighteen years. The home targets to support one hundred children at one time. The children will be accommodated in five houses and attend school in the neighborhoods. We offer them a home with 80 orphaned vulnerable children living at our center. We have a school that caters for their educations needs. We help 150 access education with 70 on home based care program. We also have a community outreach program to help vulnerable widows who are living with H.I.V/AIDS. We are training them on entrepreneurship to economically empower them to help provide food for their children.
