Description
On our 10 hectares ecological reserve land we have fig, almond,olive and carob trees. We are planning to make part of the land as a rural tourist area where the people can stay in one of the 7 old houses of which a few are still ruins.
We need help with maintaining the property s.a. gardening, building, painting...
Because you often work on your own and live in your own cottage, it is preferable for couple's or friends to stay here and not for somebody alone.

We can use a lot of help in cleaning old trees and in the summer picking the figs, carobs and almonds. But also gardening work has to be done and general maintenance like painting and building etc..

Willem and Sol were welcoming and friendly. We were given a lovely spacious cottage to stay in and great organic fresh food to cook - Sol also made us some lovely meals and she is the greatest cook! Willem gave us our workaway tasks and just let us get on with it - we were both gardening and then Paul did some painting. Must mention the dogs more
well we had arranged to stay will Will and Sol for 2 weeks but stayed 4 so this says it all really. we both really loved our time there, varied work, a gorgeous house, some lovely times together and lots of space and time to do as we wished and on top of all that the setting is wonderful with an amazing eco pool-pure bliss!

We have had workawayers since 2003. We had a lot of very nice and good people, some a bit less, but always great times.
Chris and Katie belong to the first group. They worked well and independent. They are very nice people to work with and always in for a joke. We wish (and think) the will come back to our place on day again :-)

Utterly amazing is the only way to describe our time with Willem and Sol and their lovely dogs, trees, natural pool and land. The work was interesting, exciting and taught us much about the local vegetation; the hosts are generous, thoughtful, hilarious and always up for a great chat; and you are close to a beach town with stunning cave beaches, more
I really enjoyed my stay at this place, and totally agree with the workawayer below; Fantastic people, great food and very cosy accomodation.

These hosts are a Dutch/Portuguese couple who are extremely warm natured and laid back. They are more than willing to teach new skills and very flexible in terms of working hours.
Sometimes you will eat with the hosts (and the food is ammaazing!) or they will buy any goods you request so that you can do your own cooking in a sweet little cottage more
