Hello! we are a young French family living in the countryside in the south west of France. We have many projects and a lot of work to achieve our dreams. We are first renovating an old farm and want, in the future, to be self-sufficient in producing our vegetables and raising a few animals. We live far from major cities (30km) in a lovely place in the countryside, eat organic and like to be quiet for a simple and healthy life. We have two young children 3 years old and 2 years old and a large dog.Region: Luzern/ Zentralschweiz (Lucern)
Hi, we are Toni & Jasmin. I originally come from Germany. Some years ago, we seperately traveled to Australia & met there in a pub. One year later I moved over to Switzerland. And now, 7 years later,Toni runs the dairy farm/ livestock of his father in the vicinity of Lucern. The farm is located ca. 20min out of Lucern city situated on a hill with a beautiful view over lake Sempach & our village. There are some hiking trails around & mountains to climb. In wintertime it takes you about an hour in each direction to go skiing. We are expanding the farm & the house, so it would be great for us to have some help. The work depends on season and projekts. Mainly there is work in and around the house/ garden. Occasionally there is some work in the barn. Yearround there is a agriculture trainee with us and some lovely cats. We both have some activities we do in our freetime. Toni is a fireman & I am riding a horse (not my own horse). I do a lot of dancing & would like to improve in yoga. I am interested in photography. We both like travelling, but it get`s harder & harder to find some time for that. So now we are looking forward to see you around here:-)Region: Saskatchewan
Our farm consists of 90 head of cattle - calving is getting close to completed. We have 7 riding horses and 2 ponies (both ponies are needing harness work). The rest of the barnyard population is made up of chickens, ducks, cats, 5 dogs, rabbits, lambs, peacocks and of course our llama Sparky and our two pot belly pigs, Wilbur and Louie. Our farm has been hosting visitors since 2004. We are a family of 4 (daughters ages - 16 and 13yrs) and we encourage our helpers to become a part of our everyday life.Region: Connacht
Has old-fashioned courtesy been consigned to the rubbish-dump? Any hope at all that workawayers could spare 30 seconds to reply to messages?! I need someone for May/June! I am an artist/writer/photographer living in a smallish bungalow situated 1 km. from a 13th century walled town with very narrow streets! Bhind my house is a 1-acre field with a stable where my Shetland pony, Flicka and my donkey, Kassie live – though they do visit me unexpectedly now and then! I have three cats, Lulu (aged 12) who spends a lot of her time in the stable, Kiwi (4) and Siog (Gaeilge for ‘fairy’), the baby, both of whom spend most of their time in the house with access to a walled courtyard for fresh air. My day is usually taken up with painting or designing in Photoshop, recording or mixing audio projects in my studio, writing my weekly columns for a local newspaper and a national magazine, taking and processing photographs and playing my beloved Takamine EN-40. I have lots of other instruments in my studio.Region: Pacific coast
Our project is a beautiful Peruvian Pacific coast ecological, artistic community founded on Vaisnava principles, strategically located on a beach, in the district of Aucallama, in the province of Huaral, one hour by bus or car (63 km) north of the capital city, Lima. We live together according to principles of non-violence, simple living and elevated thinking, and visitors can learn and experience how it is possible to live happily in harmony with nature, others, and themselves. We are looking for people that are basically open-minded and want to practice tolerance, compassion and patience.
