Hi everyone! My name is Catrina and I have joined workaway because I want to always be learning new things and meeting new people, also, I have just finished university so I thought now is the perfect time to go on some adventures! The things I love most are nature, animals of all kind, art, reading and writing :)

I have always loved anything to do with nature and grew up surrounded by animals so am experienced in most aspects of animal care and gardening as well as woodwork. I have done a lot of volunteering with organisations such as The Conservation Volunteers and The Big Blue Ocean Clean-Up which each center around caring for a particular environment and have taught me how to work with the land so that all life benefits! As you can probably see, working with nature is what I most love to do and have the most experience in, but I am always eager to learn more! I have also recently been helping my dad re-build large sections of our house so have managed to pick up a few skills in craftsmanship, masonry and general DIY.

My current job to support myself through university is working at a bakery/coffee shop which have given me lots of experience in baking delicious food and making delicious drinks. I generally enjoy all forms of cooking and am more than happy to help around the kitchen! I'm also very tidy and an efficient cleaner so will always be willing to help with general house work.

My love of art and literature has also encouraged me to write and paint myself, so if there are any creative jobs that need doing I would love to help out!
