    Description

Welcome to our slice of paradise located near Queenstown, on the Kelvin Peninsula, the sunniest part of town boasting incredible lake and mountain views. Nestled just over the road from the lakeside track, our property offers unrivaled access to nature and adventure.

Within a 5-10 minute drive, you'll find yourself at golf courses, the airport, and the Remarkables Park shopping center. Getting around is a breeze with nearby bus stops and a convenient 15-minute walk to the water taxi collection point at the Hilton which can drop you off directly at the Queenstown waterfront. Plus, for those with the appropriate license, we may even have a car available for your use.

Our property is more than just a house; it's a fantastic family holiday house with two self-contained flats on the lowest level, providing privacy and comfort. Via the main house you can enjoy our huge sunny balcony and fire up the BBQ, the sunny back patio is just as nice with a pizza oven and hot tub access (season permitting).

As if our home wasn't enticing enough, Queenstown and central Otago are renowned tourist destinations offering endless experiences and activities for all seasons. Whether you're craving adrenaline-pumping adventures, serene moments in nature, or endless wine tastings, you'll find it all close by.

You'll be sharing parts of the property with 4 friendly full-time residents (young professionals), 2 of us are the hosts and in the main house, 2 others are tennants in the other self contained flat so you may see them from time to time. Also on the property is our lovable Labrador and cats. Sometimes we foster dogs too, adding to the lively atmosphere of our home.

Your hosts are Eleisha and Dave. Dave works in the construction industry and Eleisha works remotely as a contractor for 2 Australian companies.

Please note that our friends and family regularly visit, which may impact availability for us to host 'Work Away' guests. We may only be able to confirm availability 2-8 weeks in advance. With so many visitors coming and going we can only offer shorter stays of roughly week. Let us know what your preferred minimum stay is so we can see if we can fit you in.

At this stage we only plan to host 'Work Away' guests once every few months, but please reach out to see if we can fit you in. It will usually depend on the self contained unit availability or our schedules.

We would love to tell you all about the Central Otago region and New Zealand. We know some of the best spots to visit locally and nationally. Dave grew up in Dunedin and Eleisha grew up in Tauranga and the Hawkes Bay region.

We are introverted but very friendly young professionals (mid late 20s - early 30s) with varying hobbies, interests, and schedules, if you want to hang out with us during our down time we would love to get to know you and take you to some of our favorite places. We arent party animals but do enjoy things like drinks and dinners out, local events and markets, walking dogs, cinema, scenic drives, movie nights, board games, reading, history, lake swimming, the driving range, and creative outlets like leather craft and writing.

If you speak French, Dave would love to practice his beginner level French with you!

If you know anything about marketing, especially on social media, Eleisha would love to learn from you.

    Help

Due Eleisha's chronic illness, multiple scheduled surgeries and busy work loads, we are struggling to keep on top of the garden and property. We would primarily need help with gardening, but sometimes help with cleaning, dog walking, or other maintenance jobs might be needed also. If you have any particular skills we should know about please let us know!

We can take a single or a couple - (Queen sized bed available)
