    Description

    Hello everyone
We are a family of four creating our dream land focused on permaculture, holistic healing, holistic care for our surroundings and being good people.
We our looking for help building eco structures using clay, pine needles, lime and many more techniques. We are wanting to create a place for holding ceremonies/ and sacred events.
Other things include kitchen space, tiny eco cabins, more ponds, many more gardens, improved camp ground space, Sacred areas/alters and even a stage for music and art.
My background is permaculture, organic gardening for consumption and production, compost, plant medicine, extraction, alchemy, cooking.
My wife’s background is arts especially painting, tattooing, meditation, dance, aikido, child care, plant medicine.
Our children Sol and Estrella are just baby’s still 1 and 2 years old. They love to be in nature and observing the nature, they love to dance also! And they sure love eating! Ha
We are mostly vegetarian sometimes eating chicken and rarely eating dairy.
We have a dog and two cats. Soon we would like ducks and rabbits and maybe a few other animals but need to build a area for them and shelter.
We have a few gardens going but nothing major, we need help making garden areas and soil. We have thousands of seeds we need help planting and caring for.
The land is located in Chiapas mx outside of san Cristobal de las casas. About a 45 min drive out of town through beautiful villages with a majestic view down the mountain. We are located about half way down the mountain, close to 5500 meters. Almost can grow every fruit and vegetable at this elevation and microclimate. Must be okay with 420 activity.

My wife is local to Mexico and can help with Spanish and knows many things about the local cultures. Also travelers will be directly in working together with the local Tzotzil in some projects on the land.
Around our land is mostly many hectares of local peoples milpas(fields for growing food), lots of woods of pine and oaks and many local plants can be taught by use, local foraging and medicines.

At the moment we only have camping to offer. We can offer two meals a day. And we can share them as much as possible but if not always possible we will provide the raw foods for that days and you can prepare yourself. We have a gas stove to prepare foods at the land. Also a small clay oven. We rent a place up closer to town also we we have electricity where we prepare many baked and non baked foods/snacks .
We make fermented foods and healthy snacks that we will include into the work trade… camping, bring your tent. Outdoor kitchen with supplies but bring your own plate and cup if possible. You will be camping on our land directly, within pine trees and oaks. We do have a few tents and bedding if you don’t have. We can directly talk about this in chat.

Time off there is much to do, from just chilling to waterfalls and caves near by. Hikes around the land with unique microclimates around. Also we offer self development spaces such as sweat lodge, plant medicine ceremonies, grounding with the abundante birds, insects and wildlife at the land.
Transport will be self organized at the moment, if you have your own or with a taxi.

Most importantly we are looking for good people, no drugs or extreme attitudes please. We are wanting peace number 1.
Let’s have a fire and play some music.
