Beschreibung

We are two open-minded and heart-led humans from beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We live off the grid in a farm community with other families and steward a 40-acre forest. We spend a great deal of our time connecting with others through magical community gatherings and events. When we are not in circles, we are exploring the mountains or coast. We wish to travel and explore the indigenous cultures and communities that keep us unified.

I (Ryan) love to immerse in nature and connect to the land and people. What motivates me most is to help people realize their dreams and have a lasting impact on their journey through life. I am happiest when I am with my lovely lady snowboarding in the snowy mountains or paddling on the coastal seas with the whales. A great lifelong joy of mine is carpentry and crafting beautiful homes and furniture. I love developing new relationships through my work. Did I mention I love chocolate?!!

I (Larissa) enjoy connecting to the land and people around me. I find great pleasure in coming together with others and building a sense of community. Resilience is at the heart of what motivates me. I believe facing challenges head-on and finding strength within myself to overcome obstacles leads to personal growth and fulfillment. Living simply is also something that brings me joy. Whether it's basking by the ocean or exploring the majestic mountains on the Vancouver West Coast, being surrounded by nature fills my heart. Spending time with my partner, Ryan and my loved ones brings me the most happiness in my life. Travel holds a special place in my heart. Exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and broadening my perspectives through travel enriches my life in countless ways.
Ps. I love dancing, singing, being silly and cooking with locally grown food :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am (Ryan) a very hands-on type and love to design and build with my preferred material, wood. My professional training is in architecture and carpentry. I find great joy in sharing my trade and teaching someone new skillsets. I have extensive experience leading teams and organizing projects in my work. I am a student of herbal medicine and love learning and working with natural medicines. One of my strengths is connecting to others in group settings and bringing humour. I enjoy stewarding the forest and building trails. Other skills include... logo/brand concept and design, hand sketching, creative copywriting, strategist and visionary, gardening, DIY home projects.

I (Larissa) wear many hats. I have worked across many dynamic landscapes, beginning in the corporate sector and then in fundraising and non-profit operational management to support various mission-driven organizations close to my heart. I find joy in organizing events, fundraising, and using my marketing skills to support worthy causes. I am also good at organizing and planning and get a thrill from developing systems that bring a greater sense of ease and satisfaction to a task. When I'm not busy planning, you can find me in the garden, singing tunes or whipping up a delicious meal. Cleaning is my therapy, and connecting with others is my fuel. I believe in the power of connection and collaboration to achieve remarkable results. Let's make a difference together! Oh, and I dabble in writing too! I am interested in honing my skillsets in farming, local food systems and medicinal plant knowledge.
